  1. save your money for homebake. december 6th the lineup there is pretty good. not much dance though...
  2. good luck man
  3. any pre-requesities for 32/33/34's or a spread of everything?
  4. its all good man i did mine in about 3 hours (and i know more about flushing my head down the toilet then skylines, thats my level of knowledge) just make sure you have all the gaskets and make sure you got the right tools and stuff, most of my time was spent walking to supercheap to buy a breaker bar for those rusted out nuts on the old dump pipe. easy job though.
  5. shame, would have been awesome.
  6. got one better on you ian - i threw mine in the toilet. i went from 3 to vodafone, 3 is probably a lil better. its not a matter of picking which company is the best, its all about not picking the worst
  7. id start looking at coilovers or heavy duty clutch. but if its purely power your after, id be going power fc as well
  8. theres some crazy photos! +1 to the phtographers
  9. im totally dumb i cant find it on googlemaps.
  10. im in dave - 33 sII
  11. ah its good you found a workshop, my other suggestion was to pull your engine. its the best way to learn - pull your engine out with g/box still attached and change your clutch on the engine stand. then throw it all back in. it wouldnt be too hard if you sorta know what your doing, or alternatively, if you can take your car off the road for a week or too, it would still be a mad learning curve for you to do even if you didnt know what your doing. pm me if your interested, ive got all the manuals/instructions/limits. a crane and stand from supacheap or something isnt all that expensive either.
  12. ah brilliant you guys are tops. cheers for the advice! the smilely face definatly paid off lol.
  13. yeah its my first time too doing the cruise, im a galston rd vet though best to keep it legal. like doof said, galston rd is pretty gnarly, heaps of crosses and stuff, dont want anyone having any scary moments on that road.
  14. yeah dude it will be way easier. if you let in the morning you would have to be out of sydney by 3 or 4am. no f**king way.
  15. so my engine bay is full of dirt and oil and other manky bits and pieces. can i simply spray it down with a pressure washer without short circuiting anything? i know this is dumb but ive thought way to hard about it and know im just unsure. hopefully this smiley face will stop you guys from laughing at me:
  16. ok figured out an easier way to do everything. for a greddy full auto timer: greddy.com/tech its all there.
  17. i got one of those greddy full auto timers. having trauma, ive taken pics and stuff, but because i cant read japanese figuring out which wire goes where is a bit hard. the harness and earthing wire and handbrake wire i can figure out just fine, but i have another two wires which im assuming are rpm signal and speed sensor wires. if anyone knows whcih one is what let me know. once i figure it all out ill take pics and post up new tutorials, since these pics arnt working. wish me luck!
  18. do the gtr seats go straight onto gtst rails?
  19. yeah its gnarly doing it by yourself. i think the gearbox is like 80kg+ to lift out of the way. you could get some stands and a trolley jack and get some mates just for some manual labouring and do it that way - if your hardcore. its jsut easier to pay $ and get someone else to do it.
  20. definatly route 2, or route 3 but with the galston road...i think its galston road that goes a bit nutty when you get towards hornsby?
  21. i was right in fornt of the a&b car when it jumped. i thought i was gonna wear a turbine wheel in the face. mad power but.
  22. you can definatly get cam gears for half that price. unsure on the cams.
  23. I was chatting to a mate who put me onto this idea, and after a bit of reading sounded plausible. if im giving away a hardcore racing secret or something, my bad, i didnt intend to, or otherwise this idea could also be totally whacky and you can all grill me as much as you like anyhoo.. if i take the head of, and cut grooves, sort of like diagonal grooves into the cylinder head in an attempt to get some swirling motion around the spark plug, then effectively im gonna get a totally sweet burn. it would hopefully stop fuel sticking to the walls of the cylinder head as well. the grooves would be cut using a small triangular file, into the cylinder head. the grooves would be straight, or parrallel to the central axis of the cylinder radius, and im guessing around two or three grooves would do the job. has anyone heard of this before, or used/uses an application like this?
  24. im with nismoid, just replace with a stocker, then sace for power fc. power fc mmmmm yum!!
  25. im coming in from richmond ARGH! im in my jaamies already im leaving round 6ish. anyone from castle hill/kellyville wanna go cruise formation?
