BIT SUS the exhaust is a 3" HKS brand. Standard CAT and Apexi. The reason is was dyno'd in 3rd is 3 is a luckier number than 4 :laughing-smiley-014:

The turbos are stock, albeit they are N1 version, same with the block. Running a set of Tomei cams and Tomei cam gears. It does run quite well indeed. I'm still pinching myself its a wagon. Power is one thing, and I've been in plenty of powerful cars, including my R32GTR. But its really the handling that has me stoked about the Stagea. Probably the biggest factor besides power, was wagons handle like boats, or so I thought before I drove the 260RS. 250 is plenty enough power for a daily ride. I dont want anymore more power in this wagon, as I'm finding the power/handling balance is just right.

What better way to spend a Saturday arvo than watching the wagon get dyno'd. I'm fairly happy with the results, considering the engine is stock bar a set of cams. Running an Apexi and a dual boost controller. For a Volvo, that's pretty quick :laughing-smiley-014:

Side Mount Inter Cooler? as opposed to a front mount? Is it a cost thing? or a cops thing?

You could probably get them made locally for $50

LOL @ wood grain is so 90s I'd give my left testicle for the same set up, in carbon fiber that is. The way I see it, if you want a Japanese Volvo, buy a M35 - if not and you want the real deal, buy a REAL stagea. /puts on flame resistant suit and gets fire extinguisher ready ....

Yeah mate I almost bought an identical set, only thing was the guy wanted OVER $2000+ Aus dollars for them. I mean I like them, but I dont like them THAT much

I know, its not for everyone. Some will like, others will hate. But here is the latest modification to the 260RS. Angle eyes and LED indicators. One of the reasons for the LED indicators was I didn't like the large orange indicator mounted into the front bar next to the front mount intercooler. With the LED indicators, I've managed to remove these large orange indicators entirely. Maybe I will fill the holes with some black mesh? Still to decide ... The angle eyes act as the park lights now and I like the overall effect its created. Just trying to create something different from the other Stagea's out there ....

When my 260RS arrived from Japan it was pretty heavily modified. One of the things that caught our attention at the workshop was the ECU (see pics) WTF is that? Anyone out there know where it may have come from? To me it looks like a home made ECU - with the old style internet connectors, the lashings of sealant, the green, red, orange and yellow lights .... Before the vehicle arrived I had plans for an aftermarket ECU, so an Apexi PFC replaced it. But I've kept this ECU simply for its WTF? factor Anyone seen one of these before? Please tell me its rare and worth $1,000,000 dollars I need more funds for upgrades.

As a proud owner of a spankin 260RS, I will give you my unbiased opinion - THEY ROCK! If its for your missus (well if it was for my missus) I would go with the car that has the best safety features. I think the S1 & S2 models are rated 5 star. Dont know about the M35 though.

Yeah I went with the clear Nismo indicators

Slowly going about modding the 260RS. Little things along the way of building my dream vehicle, and I decide that the orange side blinkers have to go. So I decide that I'll go with a nice set of Nismo smoked colour side indicators. Long story short, I was told that as far as mods go, I could choose between orange or clear Nismo side indicators, and the smoked colour version was NOT ADR approved. Is this a big thing? I mean this ADR business. Do the colour of the side indicators matter? If I go with smoked, what can happen? I've tried some online searching and it all seems a little vague. Plenty of people are using smoked colour indicators without getting done by the cops. Yet it is stated that it does not meet ADR approval. Really want the smoked indicators, but am a little iffy about this ADR approved business .... Your thoughts?

To be honest I dont understand what you mean? At first I thought you meant hooking up some super bright LEDs, but fiber optics? please explain ....
