  1. well how did it drive??
  2. haha I thought the same thing!
  3. Yeah I would be in for sure and Im sure Spoolin would be two - so thats another two stageas. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. Cheers, Ben.
  4. Yeah they would look awesome! Ce28 copy? are they Vaerrston or whatever the brand is called? I should also mention if you run 9.5 you cannot run an offset higher than +35 or they will rub the front suspension arm.
  5. A narrower rim will always help. As I mentioned I am running 19x8.5 +22 and thats pretty flush. You can work out how much more they will come out with the following equation: (width (in inches) x 25.4(mm)) Divided / by 2 - the offset is how much rim comes out from the hub face So mine that are flush are 8.5x45.5 = 215. Divided by 2 = 107.95. Minus the +22 offset = 85.95mm from the hub face. And thats about flush with the front guards: see pic below. So 9.5 +22 would be 98.65mm from the guard. So it will stick out a further 12.7mm than what I have. Ben.
  6. yeah spoolin has 19x9.5 +40 with a 12mm spacer so effectively a +28 offset... but they do stick out a bit - he has stretched tyres and they dont scrub. but talk to him about tyre wear. with that width and offset you cant take out much of the camber or they will scrub the guards, so tyres wont last long.
  7. Yeah but thats 18" not 19"...
  8. yeah 225 and 245 are more common. I remember the Tyre guy telling me that the only car they can think of with 235 was the M3 so there arent any cheap options. 245 looks a bit big on 8.5J Here is another pic of the tyre and fitment.
  9. I cant remember what rubber I have its either 225/40 or 45 If I remember correctly there werent many 235 options, and they were all very expensive.
  10. As for the vents in the front bar you will have to use R33 vents... I did them recently - be prepared to cut some serious reo though Aaron, Yeah I have 350Z brembos on mine, the Enkei wheels have loads of room for any brake upgrade.
  11. He Has Axis Hiro copies. running 9.5 +40 with a 10 or 12mm spacer to clear his brakes. Mine have no spacers and sit dead flush with the guards, his come out a little, but it looks tough without scrubbing guards
  12. The rims are 19x8.5 +22 Enkie GTC01 But thats too skinny, I ordered them online before anyone had done any real experimenting and wanted to be safe. We have worked out with my brothers M35 that 9.5 +35/30 is the ideal fitment - no scrubbing and no rolling necessary. Although if I were to do it all again I would probably to a little flair/roll and run 9.5 +22 Its only the fronts that are an issue, you can easily fit 11" on the back! haha
  13. All Clean with new rubber. Should I do the black headlights? I cant decide if I should keep them silver because the car is dark, or black them out to make it mean...
  14. Yep Steady idle, everything working perfectly... except the 4wd light came on this arvo... So I can check that off the list as a no-go.
  15. Fitted the throttle body... redet the ECU. Car wanted to stall a few times on the first drive, but after restarting the car it seems good. Drove around this morning for a bit and no 4wd light yet... which is a good sign so far. Fingers crossed.
  16. new throttle body in today to see if it fixes my random 4wd light issue! Thanks Craig and fingers crossed...
  17. I think the M35 front looks way better, someone should do an M35 fronted V35...
  18. I have the same noise, its not very noticeable but under hard acceleration it makes a creak noise. At first I thought it was pinging, but had that checked and it only does it when the drive train loads up. I was told a warn bush or swaybar link could cause it.
  19. Nice one Iain! Its all about the wing!
  20. Looks nice, is your roof black? I like it. How big a spacer are you running for those V35 wheels? 30mm? Ben.
  21. New tyres all round and a full alignment. feeling safe again!
  22. Thanks guys! feeling the love here fingers crossed this works...
  23. Iain, If you could it would be greatly appreciated! I will try it for a day or two if thats ok? I wont be there, but my brother will he can grab it. Cheers, Ben.
  24. I thought the same thing scotty, but Keen to try anything at the moment... over this 4WD issue. Might take the car down to Nissan and see if their consult will read anything.
