  1. Nice one! its worth the effort for one of these! I flew to Adelaide to get mine no regrets!
  2. Hi Guys, Im looking at maybe doing a few track days in the M35, so I have been thinking about getting some stiffer suspension. Which means my Tanabe Sustec NF coilovers will be up for sale. They are only 6 months old and in fantastic condition. These coilovers have the same spring and damping rate of you standard suspension with a shorter damping tube and height-adjust ability. So they are perfect for on the street, a very comfortable ride, with significant handling increase when you drop your center of gravity. Super smooth with no squeeks, creaks or anything, they are in as new condition. I paid $1599 and am looking to sell these for $900 with the original box, tools and instructions - I can ship interstate for $60 overnight if needed. PM, email or call me if you are interested. Ben. 0412 884 325 [email protected] Pics Below: Before: After: These are fully height adjustable from standard height to extremely low!
  3. My GIO CTP was also $678. Called up AAMI and got it for $540 this year...
  4. Yeah im not a fan either, they are too old and too small for the modern M35. Its almost like fitting R33 GTR wheels to an R34 GTR....
  5. Yep mines due in a few weeks too $407
  6. From what I understand there is no distributor here in Aus. I think Tempe Tyres brought a few containers in though a while back, so maybe try them to see if they have anything left. Late last year they had a handful of 19x 9.5 +45 in stock... Jetwreck: I fricken hate spacers as well. get the right tool for the job! speaking of which - has your nismo ECU arrived?
  7. They are sweet wheels! I had them on my C34 stagea. Awesome quality and great price Only downside with the 8.5" is they dont have the concave spokes pulling in. Make sure you get the +20 offset (they come in +35 or +20) I reckon the 9.5" +45 with a 10mm spacer would be sweet in the ARX that way you get some more dish and pull on the spokes. They are super aggressive and should just fit! here is a pic of the 18x8.5" on my C34
  8. Thanks mate Tyres are 225/40 19 Which is still a bit small from what I recall, so my speedo is off by a couple of % It is a fair bit lower than standard, I have Tanabe adj. coilovers in there, so its probable about 2" lower than standard in those pics, but it sits a little lower now as the new springs have settled in. Here is a shot of the front height (sorry its a crap phone pic I already had) - rear is the same.
  9. Yep that was me! Would have been out on the mountain bike or driving back from a ride!
  10. Yeah I reckon 19 - 20" for the M35, those arches are so big that they need some size! To get a flush fit i used 19 x 8.5 +22 offset. these just fit under the guards without any rolling, and have plenty of clearance on the inside. So you could definitely fit 9.5 +35 under the guards, but might be tight on the inside of the fronts. (there is loads of inside room on the rears) but I wouldnt recommend staggered on the M35 Here is how the 8.5 +22 offset fit.
  11. Oh shit! yeah me too.... 100% wont be there Make it after the 20th and you will have two extra M35's!
  12. 100% Keen 100% will be there!
  13. haha nice one Hugh I should have some really good pics of her this week. Went out and did proper shoot with Spoolin12 on the weekend. Including some rig mounted shots of the car with a $10,000 custom carbon camera rig! Cant wait to see how they turn out!
  14. yep, have to so you can get to the back of the stereo... is that where ive done it?
  15. Dan that was exactly what I needed! thanks for that! Looks like i have another project for the weekend! Ben.
  16. I have done a search, but didnt have any luck finding what im after. I would like the ECU pinout for an M35 stagea. I have had an SAFC II kicking around in my cupboard since owning my C34 and figured once the exhaust is done and i plop it on the dyno, I might be able to do a little fine tuning if its rich... Cheers! Ben.
  17. Anymore news on this? I was hoping to finish my exhaust soon, and dont know whether to hold out for these dumps or just take it to an exhaust shop to have it made along with the front pipe.
  18. Connected an Ipod cable that charges and plays my music through the stereo (some crap aftermarket head unit that came with the car) Only problem is I must have moved a cable or done something because my airbag light is flashing on the dash! will have to pull it apart and see whats going on! I have no idea what wires it would be though! Ben.
  19. Oh I missed ya! Saw you last week on Warringah road and waved, not sure if you saw me.
  20. Talk to Chris - Spoolin12, He got his ipad yesterday and has set his M35 TV up to run everything off his iphone or ipad, Im pretty sure that the GPS works off his 3G ipad and phone. PS if you do decide to go for one, i think you would be nuts to buy the NON 3G version.
  21. Installed the 350Z brembos last night. Was suprisingly easy to fit. The braided lines I ordered didnt fit, but the stock M35 lines worked perfectly - all I had to do was trim about 4-5mm off the Banjo bolts and they worked perfectly. The only other difference was the rear caliper bolts. Otherwise its all straight bolt on. Took about 3hours for me and my brother to finish - we took it super slow and made sure everything was perfect and bled twice to ensure no air in the system. The end results are great, initial bed in took about 15 min of medium braking and a few hard brakes as suggested on the brake pad box, after that there is already a lot more power than the standard calipers and im sure it will take a few kms before the pads truly bed in. Really happy with the results, and considering the weight of the standard calipers, im sure I have shed some lbs in the process! I will put some proper pics up in a separate post when I get some time. For now here is a quick phone shot! Ben.
  22. just finished the 350Z brembo install on the M35 Everything was direct bolt on - even the standard lines work fine as long as you trim about 5mm off the banjo bolt. Will take it out for a drive in 5min!!!
  23. Yeah I would be interested to see if a BOV does fix this, because I have noticed it starting on my car since doing the cat back - so increased boost could cause the sound if its BOV related. My brothers M35 makes the exact same noise as mine. Usually in 2nd or 3rd at 3500-4000rpm (which is when my car makes max boost according to my El boost guage) Let me know what BOV you guys use, and if its a direct bolt on or needs some adaptors etc.
  24. Yeah cant see why one wouldnt work on a VQ. I used one on my old RB and had great results, I actually have an SAFC II in my cupboard waiting to be fitted to the M35 when things need a little fine tuning.
