  1. Saw this a while ago featured in a mag. shame its RWD and not 4WD, but as the number plates suggest, im sure it would be fun slipping and sliding that beast around!
  2. Polished up the brembos today and they are in awesome nick! no marks at all very happy. All the braided lines (approved) are here, just waiting on the rear caliper bolts to come through Nissan from Japan. Clean pic below!
  3. took it for a drive today and it feels sweet! super solid and sexy raw carbon finish!
  4. Got these bad boys in the mail today!! Hope to have them on asap!
  5. Or get some 350Z brembos. See Danny's tutorial here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...p;hl=m35+brembo Pretty simple upgrade as long as you have wheels big enough to fit them. I Just picked up a set off ebay and will be doing the same conversion next week when they arrive. Cheers, Ben.
  6. haha nice one! that was me! where were you?
  7. Just picked up some 350Z brembos on ebay!
  8. Gave Chris a quick hand at doing this today, and its a tricky one! end results are awesome! He has both in, and its looks insane, even if his passenger side is a bit buggered, you cant tell from the outside! It really makes it look loads tougher. In regards to light spread, we couldnt see any difference to the naked eye, could you tell driving the car home at night chris? And how good are the pics! haha cant get a quick iphone shot from a photographer i guess
  9. yeah i have the same blue stagea and have met her husband. He is more the car guy... but she waves when she sees me now its annoying having a similar stagea to mine so close! You will know if its mine though, its lower with 19" enkies But I dont think i have been spotted yet!
  10. yeah I will be interested too. time to finish the exhaust to turbo!
  11. No I think that looks like a US infiniti M35 sedan, not M35 Stagea infiniti M35
  12. Hi Guys, Just curious as to what cat people would recommend for my Kakimoto cat back exhaust on an M35? After a quick browse I noticed a lot of the high flow metal cats come in 3 or 3.5" Considering my exhaust is actually 3.15" should I be going for the 3.5 so I dont create a bottle neck? or will that be a completely different flange size? I will be getting dump and front pipe done at the same time. Cheers, Ben.
  13. well the test was the driveway to my unit. I would scrape pretty heavily with the old exhaust, and while the kakimoto still touches, its not as bad as the stock. same goes with the local supermarket carpark, all the bumps there would slightly scrape and now it clears it! I think it sits lower at the tip and inline with the rear axle (but because there are wheels there it wont scrape there very often...)
  14. everything but the tip is actually higher than the standard exhaust. So its been an improvement as far as clearance goes so far!
  15. I think they are hot! with a subtle kit, wheels and suspension they look aggressive yet practical I now look back at pics of my old C34 and its soo out-dated now... (not meaning to start an m35 v c34 war! haha)
  16. As promised here are a couple of pics. Oh and my brother just bought an M35 yesterday! so look out for spoolin12 (Chris) on here - he always copied me even as kids! hahaha
  17. No I didnt - I do need a dump/front and cat now though....
  18. Well bolted it up today after grinding a stud off and punching it through the original front pipe... why is nothing simple when it comes to cars? But it was well worth it! the kakimoto isnt too loud, but has a great low down grumble at idle, and screams very nicely up top! Its definitely louder than a Legalis, but i would like to think the kakimoto flows a lot better - there is a noticeable increase in power, which surprised me quite a bit. I didnt expect to see much improvement until dump/front and cat were done. It seems to pull a bit more down low, and alot more up top than the standard exhaust. I got my brother to do some drive-by runs on quiet country road, and it sounds great from outside Ill get some pics of it installed over the next day or so - I dont have a video camera - so not sure if i can record any sound
  19. Well I bit the bullet and this Kakimoto cat back arrived last night! Unfortunately the quick install saw a snapped stud last night.... typical - two bolts to install and one broke! will fit it today when I get a chance and post some pics and feedback The quality is awesome, and im sure its alot lighter than the massive factory item! Ben.
  20. Really interested in this spacer guys. Just curious if anyone has done any before and after dyno runs yet?
  21. Ive been considering the Kakimoto R cat back for the M35, but unfortunately I would really like to hear some feedback on this exhaust, as i dont want that annoying drone. I have driven a Legalis equiped exhaust on the M35 (and used to have one on my C34) however the M35 I drove with the legalis was alot slower than my stock M35 - but you couldnt even tell it had an aftermarket exhaust, very quiet indeed. Ben.
  22. haha lucky I hadnt started searching for that fuel filter then! Thanks for the tips - also what model iridium plug do you use? Cheers, Ben.
  23. Hey Guys, Gonna service the M35 for the first time since getting it a few months ago - and wanted to know what plugs people are using and if are you changing the tip spacing from standard? From the search I have done on the forums Ill probably use Motul Chrono 300v (as recommended by Iamhe) Also If anyone knows part numbers for fuel and oil filters that would be awesome! Cheers, Ben.
  24. I'll be there
  25. These are a great shock. Everything bolted in without hassle, all brake lines clipped in like OEM parts. These ride super low, yet are plush like the standard shock absorbers. Plus they are purple!
