  9. haha, find of the week, corner of Unley & Cross Roads......nothing against the little things, they're not a bad little car..........just not this one!! Note the thin black stripes are actually electrical tape....also on the roof which are peeling. The front has electrical tape above the headlights in the shape of eyebrows. The tail lights appear to have been given new eyes with masking tape that washed off in the last shower we had. 4 young kids of ethnic appearance in the car playing the loudest bass I've ever heard.......felt sorry for the driver whose face & neck was covered in acne!
  10. yeah looking at the votes Nene, there's a distinct possibility that's the way it may go through some thoughtless votes. My thoughts: Vote 1 for SAU sanctioned cruises (not necessarily Neil but sapol in general, just like Zippel Cruises). Vote 2 for privately organized cruises.
  11. just had a quick look at the Poll and it's good to see the way it's going so far IMO. I'm guessing people that vote for 3 are predominantly the Stag & stock car community.
  12. YEP! YEP!! and YEP!!!
  13. good post Ben.....you've pretty much reinforced what I said earlier. lol at a couple of the posters here tonight though.......they remind me of my Dad. You try and explain something to him but he's too busy trying to think of what to say next........moments later you ask him what was said and he has no idea!
  14. hmmm.......I better buy you some ear plugs then Vu
  15. 'Great Biker Build Off' starts now on Discovery channel
  16. i hate it when I'm walking along with my hands in my pockets and I trip over then can't get my hands out quick enough

  19. lol @ page 7 No one is saying going underground is the only alternative. Regular weekly cruises under the SAU banner, where sapol has been informed, have the potential (as Cubes said) to end up on ACA or TT if just 1 idiot stuffs up in a big way..........that would surely reflect on SAU's reputation and could be its death knock. Now that's not to say weekly cruises aren't possible, just make them private and keep them to email lists. The recent Stag cruise worked because of its infrequent nature......have one every week and see if it is as successful. Cruises under the SAU banner (IMO) could take place on a monthly or bi-monthly basis with the possibility of a specific cause or charity event attached where sapol may look more favourably upon them........and organized by either a mod or elected members. The reason the Zippel Cruises have had so much success is because of the email list contact arrangement and because the average age of the participants is between 40 & 50. You're kidding yourself if you think some of their rides aren't seriously defectable and in your face......yet, age + no hooning = no sapol intervention.
  20. haha, sorry Matt, nothing personal bud..........didn't you know, me & Nightcrawler's missus are Alberton ferrels
  21. yeah very sad, I still remember the day it happened lol, I'm coming over Mark where's the best place to get a sheet from and how much?
  22. i hate the crows
  23. Good post Simon from Perth.....I agree with alot of what you have to say. Martin, I agree with your comments about Nene, she doesn't seem to get flustered & throw her hands in the air at the 1st sign of dissension.
  24. lol Nick, I don't know where to even start with your post. Nick there are some members here that have spent up to a years wage on their rides....if they were to get defected on one of these cruises, it could mean almost as much money to return their car to stock (if it ever gets back on the road again). For some of you, it's your daily, how will you get to school or work when your car is off the road for up to 6 months?! Yes, I think you're being a little naive and yes, I do think this thread is warranted for those very reasons.
