  1. hmmm, I was actually interested in both (Troy & Damo) of your comments
  2. guys, FYI, this is an extract from the "For Sale" GUIDELINES posted by BLITZ In particular, read #1 & 2 cause you're all at risk of a warning or ban at the moment.
  3. Lol Dan, you're a funny boy Thanks Chad, I was thinking to do it in the New Year anyway so I'd be keen to hook up with him at some stage. While I got you here, I spoke to Andrew (Blue 32) through PM's about going around to his place one day and checking out what he has now done to his car while sucking down a couple of beers and talking rubbish. I told him I might drag you along since you've got a 32 & done a track day with him but I think he's coming to the Dyno Day at Boostworks this Sat so we'll catch up then. By the way, IMHO, no additions to your bodywork, but that's just me.
  4. lol Dan, I can show you figures that have the 34 GTR doing the 1/4 in 12's and 0-100kph in 4.5sec (stock standard)
  5. lol, I've seen this come up a couple of times now whilst trolling through the main For Sale thread. Whatever you do, never ever buy any kind of block that has been bored unless it comes with the pistons that it was bored to suit. So many blocks for sale that have been "freshly bored" but don't come with pistons..........pistons can vary by up to .005" or more between manufacturers and even more between cast & forgies. If you buy a block that's been bored for cast pistons and you use forged pistons (unless the forgies have clearance already built into them) you're asking for nightmares. Forgies require more clearance than cast pistons due to heat growth. Not only that.........you don't know who did the final hone, what stone or paper they used, and what degree cross hatch was used. Buy pistons first, give them to the guy on the boring barr and bore to suit them with a torque plate!!
  6. thanks Damo.............tell me more about this swirl remover cause some don't do what they say they can do and others are a heavy cut and way too harsh..........need something in between IMO
  7. yes please Chad thanks Luke, I did remember you. I may be able to get the material cheap through a builder mate of mine (possibly uses CSR) but I just need a hand to do the work.....happy to pay.
  8. he didn't get a defect in the mail..........he was told to present it for inspection............letters in the mail can easily be lost
  9. I agree, Tradies FTMW.........if my boy doesn't want to go to Uni, I'll definitely steer him towards a trade. Speaking of tradies, I need to line my shed ASAP, already got insulation just need gyprock or hardie board or blue board.........any Gypies out there??

  18. funny thing about riding small bikes (must be psychological or something), but I fear more coming off a bike that's too small for me than a bigger bike, lol my bro works for Harveys at Munno Para Flick so I'll give them a go as well, cheers.
