  1. ahhh Allan, a supplement!! Thanks very much mate
  2. some tuff looking cars in here...........ie. the 2 above ^^^
  3. haha, probably on his way to Kell's for a XXX wax & maybe some eye lash tinting
  4. yeah too true about power naps. when I used to travel alot for work I found that if I pulled over for a 30 minute kip I was right for the rest of the journey......nothing more freaky than opening up your eyes on the wrong side of the road to find a bee double coming at you with air horns and spotties blazing
  5. I checked both of those sites and found the 34 manuals (that I already have) but have yet to find a 34 GTR workshop manual
  6. yeah Luke the GTRS's have a 52 Trim...............also the same specs but cheaper are the 2860 -10 on a 30 they would be fine if you pull some overlap out of your cams If on the other hand you were only after response, then stick with -5's or even smaller SS's...........they wont give you the power that the above will and I know that's what you're after. check it:
  7. I think you meant it the other way around Luke yeah it really depends what Luke is trying to get out of his car...........sure the SS maybe more responsive on a 26 than the RS but then again 2x RS would be more responsive than a big single on a 26. A 30 on the other hand would love bigger turbos hence why Supras respond better to bigger turbos than an RB. I think he could make the 2x RS work on his RB if he played with the cams' overlap via adjustable gears or different cams.
  8. far out, with all these nice looking dumps around, I'm contemplating making a decent pair of bellmouths for myself
  9. lol Ben, didn't mum ever tell you about mixing & matching colours in the wash EDIT: lol, I've been in a weird mood today...............back to work now
  10. strain out the bits of ring land & brg material out with mum's stockings and you're good to go for another 10,000
  11. Daniel that wouldn't have hurt it at all..............you just wouldn't want to go boosting everywhere
  12. a tablespoon each morning in the kid's cereal or on their pancakes & tell them it's either castor oil or Canadian Maple Syrup...........good for keeping them regular so who wants to come over for breakfast????
  13. since this is Wasteland, I'm putting my 2 cents forth. It amazes me that in all my years on God's earth, I've realized one thing that is very distinct between men & women. When women argue or even look at each other cross eyed, you can guarantee pretty much that they're going to be arch rivals for life (or for at least a very long time, lol). When blokes have a disagreement, they can punch each others lights out but within 24 hrs be sharing a beer together. PS: there are exceptions on occasion (ie Steve & Craig) but I'm almost certain they are from the Hermaphrodite variety J/K boys
  14. yep, check this............unless you're interested in straight out drag racing alone, this may be a better solution for the street over a 51 or especially an 88, lol Monster Twin Setup
  15. haha, just razzing ya.........looks like a very good effort.......and welds don't have to be pretty, just have good penetration (well that's what my Dad says, he's a boilermaker)
  16. na I know you weren't Nene..............I was just implying that Roo has had a real shocker.............I had a similar experience once and it can be life changing. Now that's definitely all I'm going to say about it........sorry Roo
  17. I reckon all you buggers talk in cinemas while I'm trying to watch a movie.........................oh and Luke, no drinking in the cinema
  18. me thinks if there was a trophy for bad weeks, Roo would take it hands down.........................enuff said
  19. lol what's an aussie..............just as much of an import as a wog, just been here a couple of years longer...............different if you're aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  20. very nice concept Joel but who welded the thing.........your mum?!
  21. never run regular in a turbo car or any hi compression engine unless you want to blow it
  22. F1's rev to 20,000 rpm. 51's will still have plenty of lag on a 2.6.........did you consider going 2.8 or even 3.0 litre, more cubes = less lag. what bottom end and sump setup you running that can handle 1500hp?
  23. yeah maybe the little splits are good for small diameter gates but I think they tend to fail on bigger gates hence why I'm thinking bellmouth more & more. Is it true the 34 GTR dumps are bigger than the 32 & 33's?
  24. this subject is pretty interesting. I swapped the 34 GTR bellmouth style dumps for a pair of short splits (using the -5's) and found that occasionally she'd creep up to 18 or 19psi..........not sure if it's an obstruction issue with the gate. I was considering going back to the 34 GTR bellmouths with the new setup that's just about to go on. Gary Cook (Sydney Kid) was telling me not to waste my time with short splits & to stick with a decent bellmouth unless I plan on using the long split style like the Trust setup (approx 400mm splits)..........AM Performance can make a similar setup as the Trust's. Thoughts guys??
  25. huh............that's like almost 1500 hp
