yeah might even be a good idea to stick some times for viewing on the F1 thread

I just checked the prices for the drive-in.....when did they change? I reckon it used to be approx $15 per car for 1 movie then another $10 for the 2nd and so on for a 3rd. Now it's $20 per movie! Oh well, can see another drive-in closing down pretty soon.......buggered if I'm going to spend $40 for a couple of average movies....might head to the video shop or checkout FoxBox.

Not sure but I think I know where Craig's going with this. We discussed this subject as recent as last night at Villies. I think ns insist on 50 posts before flogging your wares on their site....not a bad idea. Oh well, I don't make the rules, just try to enforce them.

well I might take the kids to the drive-in tonight....weather is looking good and there's a couple of good movies on. If anyone heads down there, look out for a new white Landcruiser near the projector cubicle.

yeah I don't think you could call that a permit though Nathan (unlike the permit that you apply for through the Rego office). When a cop signs off on your defect, in effect he is removing it subject to further inspection....that's not a permit. errr, I'm sorry too Cara

no he's not cause what you have is not a permit and you still had to get the car returned to a pre defect status either way, before the cop would sign off on it.

Last time I tried to get one, they wanted to know where I was coming from, what my destination was and which straightest possible route was I planing to take.....and everything is documented. Those days of 3 day permits disappeared along time ago bud.

this thread definitely has potential and there's clearly a few regular watchers on here that could offer their take or analysis after each race.....no reason why this thread can't stick around for the season so don't give us a reason to shut it down.....not everyone will agree with everything said so just accept it, disagreements and even arguements are fine as long as you don't go all hero on each other.

speaking of funny, while I was on the job and in the middle of filming, my phone rang (normally turn it off if I remember). Looked at it on the bluetooth (which is setup for auto answer after a few rings) and there was Mr (smartass) Madaz's name? I kept filming as the thing auto-answered just to have Rick Astley pumping thru my car speakers and onto my video....could've killed the bugger (and I probably still will)!!

couldn't agree more, especially being your 1st child.........if you have any questions or problems with feeding etc, a midwife is only a shout away (a bit like on-line assistance but instaneous). And as Andrew said, our thoughts and prayers are with you & bubs.

unlike bikes, F1 & Indy is all telemetry when it comes to setting up a car, they can even tell you when to wipe the booger from your top lip at 300kph

Yep I know the oil and the state distributor who I worked with at Adelaide Engine Service many years ago.....good stuff. It's not actually made here, it's imported from the US and blended then bottled here. I don't use anything else....but stick to the regular change intervals suggested by your owner's manual. Just quietly.....I think Troy was living under a rock in the USA . Seriously though, many Top Fuellers use it and reputable dyno shops sell it, ie: Boostworx, Hi Tech Dyno, Graham West, and I think TurboTune (not sure on that one) etc etc. Not to mention Adelaide's own Marco in the Keith Black powerered '57 Chev.
