whats the difference between a SAFC II and the SAFC NEO?

Im not overly concerned about it as its not affecting anything, just was wondering if they are all that loud. I do have it rubber mounted so that shouldnt be a problem. And it does say that a clicking noise is normal so im not going to stress bout it too much... thanks for your replies tho! cheers

Hey guys, jst a quick question.... I know in the instructions a clicking sound is normal while the solenoid vavle is operating but how loud is it meant to be? i can hear it quite easily from inside the cabin... Cheers

Even if they try and tell us they use the revenue they make from fuel tax on maintaining our roads, I want to know which ones they are maintaining...Most of the roads i use each days are littered with pot holes, broken surfaces, bumpy as all hell and have what could almost be described as rutts in them (more from heavy use by trucks). I wouldnt mind paying the amount we do if I was actually seeing some of my hard earned going into the roads I drive on... My 2c...

Im in the same boat...about to start to save up for a new ecu. For a brief few moments I was considering a AFC neo but after doing some reading have decided that Im better off just saving a bit longer and getting the Greddy emanage ultimate. My mods so far are K&N panel filter (im also anti pod), 3" turbo exhaust, and EBC. The boost controller had made a hell of a difference and only running 9psi max. Can't wait to get the EMU and get a good tune!

thanks dave, am planning on going to a tuning place in the new year. thort it would be more expensive than that tho! i guess ill just have a fiddle with it for now and see how i go. thanks for your input

Gday guys, just installed a profec b spec into my 34gtt, its running fine and everything is working great. Just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of a guide as to what to set all the peramiters at....im wanting to run the hi boost at 10psi and the low at around 7 Im brand new to all of this turbo setup stuff and am running it at very low boost atm as i dont want to go causing any problems with it! any help would be great thanks guys! oh and yes i have done a search but had no luck finding anything

Yeah thats where ive run the 4mm tubing and after having a look around ive come to the conclusion that im going to have to run the wiring through the same one. (gonna be a tight squeeze though!) cheers for your feedback

Oh and one morre question....i have a turbo timer mounted just above where my left knee sits under the dash....is there any reason why i cant stick my boost controller to the bottom of the turbo timer? like are there any heat issues? might be a dumb question but just thort id ask!

Ok so i've got the 4mm tube through the firewall using the main wiring harness grommet but ive come to a problem with the wiring... The plug that connects into the back of the unit aint gonna be able to run through that same grommet... So just wondering where else it can be routed?? Any help would be great! Thanks

An old thread i know, but ive just bought a greddy profec boost controller and am looking for the best place to route the tubing through the firewall on a R34.... ive tried searching and this is the only thread i could find and not really much help. Thanks guys!
