Based on your description, YES do it, so long as it is done correctly you should be fine. I will give you one piece of advice. Never bag another shop to a customer e.g. Yes we do body kits, ours are much better than ARES speed kits, theres are ****. This is the one way to send you business bankrupt. I visited a certain chilly (think about it) workshop at the coast and they told me that their fmic were much better than those from ARE, infact ARE actually use our designs. They didn't realise that I knew this was total crap and they lost my business and the business of my friends, all up 7 intercoolers, oil catch can and a overflow bottle, all because they told me crap and bagged another well established business just to try and get their foot in the door. If I was you and was looking at starting a business in Brisbane here is what I would do. leave the body kits to others, unless you have the time and expertise and good labour kits will be your worse nightmare as the time and effort that goes into them is not matched by the amount you make on them. Get your self affiliated with someone like takakaira and sell all the Cool Jap accessories, videos and magazines. Rice is bad for your diet if you eat too much so other avenues seem to be taking off like the before mentioned mags, vids etc. Real merchandise like apparell from MINES, ENDLESS etc is also a good idea and will give your business an edge, if your shop is the only one that sells it then you will make the money. Look at the trends, where is the Ozzy car scene heading? If you wait till it happens its too late, you need to be established and on everyones lips so when someone says where can I get those cool ????? that I saw on that vid then youe name comes up straight away. One last thing, don't try and make tonnes of money by selling a few items. My opinion is that it is better to sell 100 $2 items than 10 $20 items. The more product you have on the road and on people the more you name gets around so don't charge to much, aim to sell quantity. Sorry for raving but starting a business is something that I have looked into fairly seriously in the same area as your self.

mmmmmm, very bad, yes very bad. I rolled my 77 model yellow mazda 626 just after I got it, not because of bad driving, I just hated the car..... I would like to offer my sympathies and my car for you to buy if you are interested.....? www.d-u-e-l.com for pics and specs $20 000

When I did mine I measured the wheels and found the exhaust wheels are the same on the vg and the rb turbo's but the comp wheel is slightly bigger....the main thing is that the comp housing is much bigger on the inside with the vg over the rb housing thus allowing more air to flow at lesser turbine RPM as mentioned before. I have been running mine at 15psi since installing and have not had any problems. By the way I have a vg30 turbo for sale for 20k and I will through in my car for free:uh-huh:

Pics & Vids From Track Day

Yeh Jay it is fairly casual out there, actually we did have to where long sleeves and pants but most of us had long shorts on which was ok. Tim (WRX) is the president of the Toowoomba chapter of the club who hired the complex so he will let me know next time an event is on and I will post it up. There was only 10 cars there for the day and it only cost $40 for as much racing as you can fit into the 5 hours (which is a lot) there are only allowed to be 4 cars on the track at once which is good. Lunch was a BBQ for $2.50 including a drink. Not a bad price but it is a good idea to buy some stock brake pads to use as it is hard on braking. -
A few of us went out to Morgan Park with the Toowoomba sports car club for half a day of racing and mucking about. Ben in his 180 got sideways....a lot and left the track on a number of occasions including once when he got heaps of grass and dirt lodged in his tyres, he also managed to totally destroy a set of brand new (Factory) brake pads he got for the day, just in the half day of driving. Check out the pics and vid here

I have one that will be just perfect for you, it is on my car and you can have it for 25k and you get the car for free (No Joke)

I have HKS gears on my car and they are dialed in as best as we could do. with the vg30 turbo we got noticeable gains in the bottom and top end but not much in the middle....it takes a while on the dyno to get them right but its a fairly easy task. One tip the settings for a GTR are totally different for the RB20. I would give you the specs but I am not sure how much the turbo affect it.

I will be in Airlie Beach from 18th Oct for a week so if it is around that time I may take a side trip....only problem is it is a long way from home and I'd hate to wreck my holiday if I broke something......especially when the car may be getting sold:eek:
