  1. i got one on my car and i am pretty sure it looks bad asssss.... it looks funny if you have a lamo stock car and a spoiler but if you have a kitted out car with wheels it really adds to the look and if you think that looks shitty then you need your eyes checked
  2. No i took it to a local shop after i prepped the entire car myself. They charged me 600 to spray and tape the car. So I guess total price of my paint job was 900 dollars. I think i am going to try to spray my next car. I don't know about you guys but where i live you can actually rent a paint booth and they provide you with a gun and everything.
  3. Hey guys/gals I have a HCr32 skyline thats lacking horsepower. So I plan on building a Rb30det. I actually live in canada and am not sure if anyone close has ever done an RB30det. So i was looking for some pointers on building one and also what problems you guys had to overcome which could save me some time. Right now I have an RB30 block which i am fully building. RB25det head plan on putting cams. Gates timing belt. RB25 tranny. Spool rods. I am having problems deciding what kind of oil and water pump are best. Also head gaskets are hard to come by here what brand of head gaskets and pistons have you guys had good experiences with. Plan on using Haltech for tuning greddy intake plenum with a gt35 turbo.
  4. get uras its quite similar
  5. i think they look cheap.... i would rather get some ssr's or something
  6. the ebay ones are okay they fit good you need new screws and stuff to mount them properly.... but they look pretty decent but the cf looks cheap i would just paint them oh and also they crack in cold weather.... my bro left his car outside in winter and the glass cracked heres a pick of knock offs on my buddys silvia... alll and all not bad for 20 bucks haha
  7. nope as i said use the car for drifting so sure don't touch.... the problem with skylines is more rubbing on the front upper control arm rather than rubbing on the wheel well.... so i found with lower offset rims and smaller tires you can go a little lower.... I am putting adjustable upper control arms so i can fit them a little better and get my 3degrees up front.... when all the snow dissapears maybe i can get some action shots
  8. Yeah use zipties thats the easiest.... drill a couple holes and yank those straps tight and you are good to go...... its also good cuz if you have any mishaps your bumper pops off and gets way less damage
  9. that is correct... i honestly just took out my suspension in the rear.......blasted the fenders with a heat gun.....jacked the car up and threw some stacks of newspaper ontop of the wheel and tire..... lowered the car from the jack poppped the trunk ..... hopped in the trunk and jumped up and down until they fit hahhaa.... seriously its ghetto but this way you get a smoooth pull that flows with the body line not like those dumb lips you get with a fender roller
  10. okay so i am running an 18x10 +18 on my HCR32 the tire size is a 225/40/18 in a Federal 595 i found federals run way bulkier than falkens i had before... fir more like a 235 fronts are a 17x9.5 and +17 offset with a federal again 215/45/17 and again they fit way larger than normal tires but in the end i have more grip with these tires then i did with larger shittier tires so i don't mind and i got the look i want... and i drift my car feel amazing just need more power oh and hers the same wheels before powder coat and car when it was black you see how much i worked it to make it fit
  11. up close of the paint or you can be like me baller on a budget my entire car paint and clears cost me a little over 300. Just went to a local paint distributor mixed silver metallic with 2 different tones of green and threw some rainbow sparkles in the clear finished car in the sun the rainbow sparkles blind you its wicked
