I bought an SR20 2core of Ebay for the race car , all alloy and pretty good $165. You can get the tanks replaced at most good radiator repairers for probably around $80-100

I had the same problem 12 months ago and the place that i bought the stagea from said they fixed it, but no go. Im a sparkie so its easy but fit a relay to the starter solenoid, some times the system cant supply enough power for the solenoid and it wont pull in, fitting a 40A relay will fix it.

I live in wesburn , just past yarra Junction, $400 excess garaged though.

Sorry to but in , but it is the contacts on your light switch you have to consider , there are only fine silver contacts on the light swwitch and easily damaged. In other words relay it,its cheaper than replacing thye switch.

It may have been sticky because it hasnt had an oil change, but to advance the timing by 8 degrees is criminal, the best way to detenate an engine.it doesnt take much , too much timing and a little boost and you launched a motor, be carefull The VVI switches in at 1050 revs and out at around 5200.

well i was reading an article the other night about this very subject. Nissan Attessa Ets is all wheel drive, roughly 80% rear 20% front until a rear wheel looses traction, there is a high pressure pump above the rear diff that pumps approx 288psi that feeds a variable drive to the front wheels controlled by a Microprocesser , when you loose traction the pump pressurizes the transfer case and loads the front wheels, apparently some Stageas have a Viscous LSD in the front. All this sensor , processer load change takes a split second to function. However you can override this to a certain extent, there are two switches , one on the console to lock the front diff and the other on the dash to lock 50/50 split ,but should only be used on soft surfaces, as they were designed for snow and it doesn`t snow in Melbourne very often.Hope this clears some mith Dennis
