  1. You must be from Performance Forums.
  2. gtssky: UAS has them. How about a VSpec sticker instead?
  3. devlish angel, excuse the comments of some but most of us are talking generally and from our own experiences with insuring hi performance japanese imports. Take into account that you virtually never hear of any 17 year old let alone a female buying a GTR for their first car. This is why most people you speak to will be skeptical. Obviously if you can afford it then great, if you are paying for it buy the car, but if your parents are paying for it they are nuts, I know I wouldnt buy my daughter a car such as a GTR for someone with so little driving experience. Thats basic common sense. However if you must have one do yourself and every other motorist a favour and do some defensive driving courses before hitting the road in a GTR. Best of luck
  4. You wont find insurance for an R33 GTR for 17 year old. Its that simple. Famous wont insure anyone under 19 years old. 10K and over will be about right to insure a GTR. I would be thinking, If its the looks you are after then why not grab a nice series 2 GTS-T with a GTR kit, still a great looking car but without the serious insurance overhead plus its safer given the lack of driving experience. PS this isnt a dig at devlish angel, just thinking sensibly.
  5. Maximumrpm: Regardless of your experiences, those sorts of racist comments arent welcome on this forum. For the rest of you, if you have a problem with a particular workshop, pm each other about it - slandering of other businesses is also not permitted.
  6. Holy crap is Voltron back from the dead!
  7. Hi Tech did a group buy for us on R33 GTST complete systems for around $1800 fitted including stainless dump pipes, front pipes, hi flow cats, resonators if requested and choice of rear muffler combinations.
  8. Ah - har so these kits are actually the different models that use all the factory piping eh?
  9. Im interested to know how you can say that you dont need a hole saw when these intercooler kits require a hole to be cut in the inner guard near the washer bottle/battery tray depending on wether the car is a R32 or R33. This hole is required to run the piping down to the drivers side of the intercooler.
  10. Ill be there to for my first run
  11. MRK25T: Yes they will work.
  12. Kaotik: They use a sqaure tube and fin... (mix between bar and plate and tube and fin) UAS has told me they fitted one of these coolers to an R32 GTR running intake temps of 67 degrees, after the cooler was fitted the temp went down to 24 degrees. UAS has also told me the coolers will be good for 600HP
  13. Can those of you who persist in trying to sidetrack this thread with "Cheaper" offers for other intercooler kits please give it a break. This offer has been especially organised via UAS for the benefit of SAU forum goers, its not some random idea. Have some consideration
  14. Anyone interested please let me know so we have an idea of numbers. Cheers
