Tom, if you are really that passionate about wanting to work with cars I would suggest you get in contact with some reputable performance workshops and try and line up some work experience. Work experience costs the shop nothing, sure you dont get paid but its a fantastic way to get your foot in the door and your chances of securing some sort of work be it as an workshop assistant or apprentice etc are much greater. Give it a whirl and good luck

Rob, When I had my car dynoed at C & V I hit 160kw on the nose as we expected. The dyno also showed up a bit flat spot after increasing boost where the timing was retarding. C & V told me the addition of a power FC should see the car at very close to 200rwkw

Well last weekend I priced one from Nengun and the price after currency conversion was $1546 to be exact. $2000 with hand controller from nengun is not correct, MRK25T recently received his and paid around the price that I calculated delivered to his door.

Robo. Go and get yourself a Power FC. Nengun has Power FC's with Hand Controllers for under $1600 (New) delivered. This should solve your worry not to mention giving you a hefty powerup. :uh-huh:

If you purchased a 15+ year old car via someone like Prestige Motorsport I cannot see them turning round after purchase and saying sorry the rules have changed, bad luck. If there was an possibility of such a change no doubt Geoff and prestige would clearly advise of it. And even in worst case scenario, if you did buy a car and the ruling did change, the importer would have to refund you the full amount as the conditions of sale had not been met.

Id be spending the extra $1000 and buying one of the R32 GTR's that Prestige has had on offer.
