Thanks mate. Good luck with your plan. Price is in my last post.
  4. John and Roman, see you there. What cars will you be driving? Mine is in my avatar. Silver 32 GTR.

    My New Car

Thanks for the comments guys. Femno, I see where you're coming from but I just love them. I also know them and have parts and people around me to help with the inevitable fix ups and upgrades. The silver one is pretty hairy chested now and isn't that much fun on the road, so hence the streeter. Personal preference I guess. What would you get for that brief for $17k? I discovered that someone has signed the back of the sun visor on the driver's side. Wondered if anyone had seen something like this before. Perhaps my car was owned by a Japanese celebrity? Image attached.
  6. Where to attach on the bonnet and where to attach on the car? Is the car attachment under bonnet or around the front of the front bar? Cheers.
  7. Std bonnet and don't really want clips. I'd be interested in hearing from people about how to rig something up yourself. Midlnight has been PM'd. Cheers.
  8. As per the scan attached. It's on our calendar I believe. Maser.pdf
  9. I've got to get one of these organised for Sunday coming. I don't mind buying or fabricating myself, but if someone can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.

    My New Car

I guess I can't get enough of the old 32s......so I bought another one. My silver one keeps getting more track orientated and I wanted something more street friendly. I also miss having a stock GTR. Due to how (relatively) civilised the new one is my wife is happy to get in it and I've even got a baby seat in the back for my daughter. I can now combine family days out and taking a GTR for a spin.....Went up Authur's Seat yesterday and all through Red Hill which was fantastic. Now I've got to resist fiddling with this one but I'm not sure how long I'll last before I can't help myself..... The car is a 1992 and has 177k klms on it which I dare say is a real figure (unlike the 90k readings on almost all GTRs, including my other one). Rims are unmarked and the car is stock save for a stupidly large Jasma cannon and some sort of Tein suspension. Drives really nicely but feels a little strangled by the zorst.......Overall it's in great condition. Fingers crossed the engine and turbs hang on for a while. 2 GTRs in my garage makes me very happy. Hope you like.
  11. I'm doing this day. Anyone else from here going to be there too?
  12. I'd like a set for my GTR. 20mm. I love the std R32 GTR rims but they need to fill the guards better. Got to be hub centric, bolt on etc. I'm not too interested in debating the merrit, or otherwise, of them as an idea as I've already taken my advice, but want to know where you can buy good quality items. I know spacers are not ideal, so the quality is really important. Many thanks.
  13. Does one use sleeve or ball bearings when this is done? What is the standard set up?
  14. At this stage (and I do change my mind) I tend to agree with you re steel wheels in the stockers. I'm assuming the hiflow part means they spool up more slowly. I'm also assuming the steel wheels with no hiflow spool more slowly than the ceramics? Does that mean you really want to run more boost when going to the steelies? I'm guessing there's no reliable way of replicating the feel of the ceramic turbs, so once they're gone the repsonse will always be a little slower? I don't want to lean on the engine too hard or want fuel economy to drop to pitiful levels, so just the guarantee they don't pop and get a little more.
  15. http://www.atpturbo.com.au/ATP_Turbo_Repairs/index.html I've got a new (old) R32 GTR coming my way which is pretty much stock standard. She'll only ever be a streeter and I'm not looking for big horsepower. I guess I'm wondering what my turbo options are. I really don't want to sink a fortune into it (like the other damn one), but am concerned if I leave the std turbs in place they'll let go one day and possibly take the eingine too. I'd like to maintain the feel of the originals, perhaps lean on them a little harder and make a little more mumbo, but that's about it.... I've sussed out a new / second hand pair of -7s, or I could rebuild the oldies, and possibly hi-flow too. Be interested to hear your thoughts on the various options and where to get good quality work done. Thanks.
  16. Assuming the car in question has it's original gearbox, what year (and even month) did the swap from push to pull happen? Lots of info on the differences and how to swap but I can't find which year the pull started. Thanks.
  17. Thanks Mr Ruffels. I'm buying this one today so your efforts are not in vain.
  18. OK, one more please. Nearly there in my quest for another GTR. 6U9000-BNR32 220675. Thanks (again).
  19. When the engine was built they cleaned the throttle blades and without the carbon deposits and the fact the teflon coating is now worn off (over the years) it idles high. Very annoying. Power FC has made a difference but still 1100-1200 minimum. Needs to have the blades re-coated to sort it out. Expensive and fiddly job for no performance gain so hasn't happened.
  20. Glue advice anyone?
  21. Going to be storing a car outside for a while and need to buy a cover. Needs to be waterproof. Can anyone recommend one or are they all much of a muchness? Thanks.
  22. The 'foam backed cloth' insert above the rear arm rest on my 32 is peeling off and I need to stick it down again. Can someone tell me what adhesive to use? Thanks.
  23. bnr32-304958. Thanks.
  24. Well said. It now hunts down the redline rather than making you feel like short shifting
