Attached is dyno sheet. On the boost map you can see the boost is kept at a constant 21ish psi from 3800 rpm where it used to drop off from about 4800rpm. At 2580, 3320 & 4060 rpm the new map is 2psi, 3psi, 3psi higher respectively (roughly). The tuner said they’d take out the hump in the mid range. Apparently the more linear delivery means you can get on the throttle earlier and you actually go faster. They also said the ‘performance feel’ might be reduced by this. Odd as the performance feel is much better according the part of my body that contacts the seat. There are some small power gains between early 3k rpm and mid 4k rpm, but not much to my eye. I guess what may explain why the chart looks ‘worse’ and the feel is better may be in the torque map which I wasn’t supplied. Perhaps there is better early torque delivery (even if the ultimate amount is less than it was). The other potential reason is the exhaust restriction. I guess it may have been there for a while, I got used to it, and now it’s gone I’m feeling the gain of that. I wouldn’t discount this, but there is definitely a ‘style’ of delivery in this current set up that has never been there before so I’m guessing it’s a combo of both. Maybe there’s a little bit of 'I’ve spent time and money and I want to feel an improvement, so I actually do……. It’s been a bit of a hassle (the effing EBC was supplied broken, but replaced with no questions asked) and has been costly (yes Ash you told me it was incremental gains at this stage) but I’m not sure that given my time again I’d not do it anyway. I’m really happy with how it feels. Overall, odd. dyno.pdf

To round this off the Turbosmart eBoost is now fitted and mysteriously I'm 9 RWKW down on the last dyno run (done ages ago). The EBC was taken out and it was still down by that amount, so prob not the EBC causing the issue. Initially there was an exhaust restriction but that was resolved so we know that is not contributing either. We given up worrying about this for now as dyno hours are racking up with no gain. However, the car drives a whole lot nicer now. Throttle response, spool up, mid range, part throttle response (I'm probably repeating items but this is how it feels) are all much better. I can hear the turbs a lot better too...... I was really disappointed when I heard the power situation but I'm really happy now I've driven it. Strange world.

Can anyone from Newcastle recommend a quality GTR specialist mechanic / tuner / engine builder in Newcastle? I have a friend who needs some work done on his GTR and he's new to the game so trying to help out. Thank you.

R32 Gtr V Spec I Vs V Spec Ii
LotusGTR replied to LotusGTR's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Stuff all difference in numbers considering that's world wide production. Also, the wider tyres, are they on wider rims or are they still on the 17 x 8's. If so, then you replace the tyres (let's face it they're prob not OEM by now anyway) and save for 150 extra vehicles and the kudos of the badge there is not much difference. Right. Wrong? -
R32 Gtr V Spec I Vs V Spec Ii

lol. Good stuff thanks guys. Is one more collectable than another. More covetable or is it all semantics? -
Keepers of this knowledge please reveal yourselves. I'm thinking there is not much difference, but it'd be worth knowing. I'm guessing I is for '93 models and II for '94s. But what are the real differences? Thanks.

Nissan 32gtr Parts
LotusGTR replied to Dalvin's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
What is the story re the gearbox? All shiny and new. Where bought from? Who reco'ed? What work done? How much work has it done? Push pull? When was the photo taken? Is this how it will be supplied now? How would you describe it drives? 20 questions I know, but some more details would be appreciated. Feel free to PM. -
Engine built by who?

OK, we're set up in the temp office and are about 90% the way there on the permanent warehouse and office facility in Thebarton. We are recruiting for a permanent State Sales Manager (ad on SEEK) but I also need someone for a coupe of months on a temporary basis. Basic activities will be calling on architects, ensuring product literature is updated and gathering basic information about the firm. Got to be able to work autonomously, present well, have own (reliable......) transport and to think on your feet. I'll probably go SEEK for the temp position and canvass the 3rd party sales force market, but on the off chance you know someone or you are the one....... Shout out if you've got something to add.

lol at all those posts. There will sadly be no time for any GTR action but as I fly out of Adelaide I always eye off those roads up in the hills. Someone needs to tell me what the Villi's meet up is all about? They make pies right? Do they sell them somewhere with a large car park? As for my mission I'm just not creative enough to keep the joke rolling so www.lotusdoors.com.au. We've been in SA for about 10 years but we have a 'new distribution stragegy' and we'll be setting that up in the next couple of months. We're now after combined office and warehouse of about 400sqm. About 50-70 of office, 40 for showroom and the rest warhouse. Located close-ish to the west side of town, not too far north. Got to be presentable with a good loading apron. Cheers.

Thanks everybody. www.officesonthepark.com.au is just the ticket. We move in on Monday.

Thanks guys, but I need a serviced office specifically. I'm only in there for a short time and don't want to set up. Straight walk in and walk out. I dug up a few placed yesterday so i'll see how I go. I'll post up if they're any good just in case anyone does a search lol

Guys, I need an office for a month or 2 in, or close to, Adelaide. Ideally need to have parking (for at least 1), 3 desks, access to a meeting room, high speed internet connection and at least 30-40sqm. For legitimate business activity. Happy to discuss details if you're in a position to help, either yourself, or thorugh someone you know. Happy to take suggestions about how to find such spaces too. Let me know your local knowledge. Cheers, Nick.

I'm running these and boost peaks at about 22psi.

I've got some KYB coil overy type things. In a box at work so can't really show you them now. I'm not sure how old they are but they were on my R32 GTR when I got it. I've upgraded to DMS 50mm. The KYBs worked fine and aren't leaking etc. Perfectly serviceable. Let me know if you want to know more.
