    Defected!

I got defected a while ago and that was full of BS. The police don't know what they are looking for and just ticket you for anything that they feel like. I was defected for having a turbo installed on my GTST? When I explained to them that it comes standard with a turbo on it he said no you installed one. We will never win your only chance is to fight it in court and win and then hopefully if there is enough charges overturned in court then maybe they'll look at the way the system works. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA yeah right Oh and when I had to clear my defect I didn't need a RWC. I just got put over the pits with a quick inspection then when it passed they cleared my defect off the vehicle using their computer system. It took approx 20 mins and I was in and out.

  10. So Clean Air Filters Don’t Help Fuel Mileage? While cruising the wide world of web recently, I landed on a .gov website with an interesting article that I thought had some interesting results. The premise of the article is that the US Department of Energy wanted to know how vehicle maintenance effected fuel mileage, specifically dirty air filters. So they did an experiment with 4 cars: 2003 Toyota Camry 2.4L 2007 Buick Lucerne 3.8L 2006 Dodge Charger 5.7L 1972 Pontiac Grandville 455ci (aww yea)
  11. Best motoring battle If you were one of the many automotive enthusiasts to shed a tear when it became known that Japan's Best Motoring set off for the giant junkyard in the sky, we have a little piece of good news to cheer you up: there's one final track battle for your viewing pleasure. Even better news: Best Motoring went out with a bang, pitting the Lexus LFA up against such performance benchmarks as the Nissan GT-R, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Porsche 911 GT2 RS and Ferrari F430 GT3. Yes, there are two almost-race-cars in the mix there along with three machines intended solely for the street, but it doesn't really matter. All such contests should be taken with a grain of salt anyway. When it's all said and done, what we have here are five mouth-watering supercars on a track together being driven in anger.
  12. Has anyone tried to run their engine on hydraulic oil? I just read an article where a fellow has a 80's mitsubishi scorpion which has a oil leak. One day in the shop he had to fill the oil but didn't have anything available apart from Mobil hydraulic oil. He filled it with that (temporary) but then decided to run it on that all the time. He said in the article that since he has run it on that he hasn't had any issues. Any theories on what it would do to the internals of the engine?
