heheh would i be able to do this. WHat toolz will i need, as i have a huge tool kit, i will just need to by the equipment. By asjustin the wastgate, will this change to boost pressure, or just allow it to hold better. -
sly what fuel pump are u running? I know of alot of people making over 250rwkws with standard injectors, standard fuel pressure and 044 bosch fuel pump. I would advise u get a 044 if u dont have on already, and buy a fpr like everyone else reckons. Then take out ur stupid cat. Then there will b happy times for all.

Michelin Preceda Tyres (small review)
EnricoPalazzo replied to benm's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Benm, how long have these tyres been on your car? How much tyre tread is left? Ultimatey are u very conservative in ur driving and have the occasional hard acceleration bursts? Just tyring to work out how long wearing these tyres are. Cheers -

Hey matt/steve : do u think shaun would mind if i just had a look at the setting on my cam gear. I have checked them and it seems to be 2-3 notches to the left looking front on. What does this equate to? Joel: Do u think the dodgy wastegate mod of urs would work on my car. Im having problems holding any more then 13psi over 5000rpm. -
hahah i love it hiep that u call urself a small business owner. The problem i mainly had was that when i dropped the car off, they wouldnt give me any quoted price or anything. I was a bit worried, however last time i was there, i was charged and excellent rate so thought there was nothin to worry about. Also Steve, i had the same thing happen to me with the plugs. Back to back dyno runs showed a huge loss in midrange from swithcin the iridims to platniums. Can someone answer my question about spark plugs? Is it true that iridiums are shit. I dont think this is possible cos so many aftermarket car tuners use them. Anyway i have a set of coppers at home so if anythin does happen i have a spare set. Cyas

what i probably could do is complain to there head office that they ripped me off. Do u think that would be worthwile?

andy pm me who mite get unichip installations? if it does happen in the near future maybe i should get them just to make sure things are good still. Also is it possible to run a z32 with unichip??
-
yes that is correct about hittin a brick wall. That is why this is so painful as i eventually planned on gettin a bigger turbo, so would need a power fc, but i thought that tthe unchip would b sufficient until then. anyway if i just bought the powerfc it would of worked out heaps better and cheaper

F1 - anyone know of any live net audio or video???

for text commentry try www.f1.com or www.plantf1.com -
only this place can tune unichip. Matt did have one.
-
Guys it was 550!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yeh the person who was tuning also did that. And he had a lot of thing to say about some other tuners. Guys, when he told me that iridiums are shit, is this true, or is that another rip off thing. My car HAD greddy iriduim plugs in excellent cond. They replaced them with platniums, as they are the "best" and will make more power. I thought iridiums are the absolute best when it comes to modified turbo cars? And i left them there I should of kept them just in case....
-
Alex, what good advice is it? Dont go there? Cos im way ahead of u if its that? Mattr: the place starts with T The only reason i went there is cos i have a unichip and they are the only place that can tune them. I think i should reiterate to those that might b confused. I was charged 550 to set a boost controller and cam gear. Both wer previouslt installed. I thought it would of cost a max of 200 and take about 1-2 hrs. So obviouslt the whole encounter is a bad experience for me. There are two forum members that i know of that have been to them. Me and steve and both of us were ripped off. For all the money i have no spent on this farken unichip ecu, it would have turned out cheaper if i just got a powerfc and a competent tuner This is the worst thing... Do i work my ass off at work and uni so that some c unt can just rip me off. Mate i dont care anymore, cos i know a HEAP of people, and i know none of them will go near them now.

New bilstein/Kings setup: review
EnricoPalazzo replied to SLY33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i would of been interested in that diff, but i have no money now. refer to my post in sa forum -
ummm i think u r about rite, however i dont think there is one goin into throttle, as two wires are used to intercept ecu signal. ill get the colours when i can. Have u had any luck installin it yet.

Well i just got back from gettin my ebc and cam gear tuned. I got farking sledged 450 bucks to do it. And the worst part is that i installed both the ebc and cam gear myself prior, so all they needed to do was tune them. It took 6hrs to do the tuning, 6 HOURS!!! and they didnt even get what i wanted. They said it would hold boost heaps better then my bleeder, yet the results showed only 1 more psi was held to redline!!!!!! Then he spent a total of 10 mins with the cam gear, only adjusted it once, and said, yeh this is perfect. When i told him that all the lines i know of make best power at 4deg, he told me he would only do 2. Then he told me each mark is 1 deg not 2, and im positive that u guys say 1 notch is 2 deg on crank? is this rite? So i have no idea what the cam gear is set to, so im gonna have to pay someone else, or try do it myself now!!!!!!!!!! Then when i go to pay, he tells me that he forgot to add 100 for sparkies, ( cos accoridng to them, iridiums are shit and platinums are the best), so i have to fork out another 100 for spark plugs that i didnt need or ask for. So to sum it up, fark them, they can chase me up for that 100. i aint givin it to them. They ripped me off so hard. if they did a good job then the money thing woulodnt b so painful, yet the ebc is only marginally better then my bleeder that was fine, and who the hell knows how my cam gear is goin. This guy had no idea. I feel sick now. PM me if u want to know who the company is. Most of u will already know. Dont post it here, and dont ever go there. I should have learnt from steves experiences. They are liars, and basically rip u off. If u do ever go there, get a fixed price b4 they touch ur car. fffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk
