After a lot of comments it doesnt seem like a good idea. Theres a lot of information overload therefore deciding on a turbo for an application is very difficult. Im just going on what people have chosen to do with the cars. What would you recommend doing. Im after around 250 - 300rwkw. Just enough for a low 12 second. Provided that all the other systems are in place to support that power. I also want a low mount turbo so cops dont do anything.

Dont you think highflowing the turbo is a good idea? Im just doin it in stages.

AVO in melbourne got the turbo for $2,780. But you got to make your own lines and stuff.

yes i do release its not like lego and yes it does require precision to fit the parts. Im just looking to gain a bit more power out of the rb25 turbo at a minimal cost.

its ok ill worry about my rons and pfc later. Im in the process of getting cheap steel wheels for $400. Does this sound right?

Its not richer than my series 1 ecu so its got to be better. Dont worry it wont blow up its an RB engine

im looking for steel wheels to highflow it. The PFC is going to be tunned soon. But i love aggressive timing & fuel curves :devfu: :devfu:

i like the rb25 quick response and the vg30 has lots of lag.

Ive got a R33 GTST and have recently found out that my turbo doesnt have steel wheels and wont last long without upgrading it. Is it possible to put steel wheels from another turbo (VG30) into the RB25 turbo. Has anyone done this before? If not are steel wheels easily sourced and are they cheap? Anyone know where i could get some in melbourne? thanks in advance AK

Yes u need 2 turn the setting of using the hand controler . Lucky my was already turned of and tunned.

i got my pfc last week and put it in the car around 30 minutes and drove away. The car is dream now to drive. Now the boost is strong and hard and you will manage to pull away from a lot of cars. Yeh you can drive it around no problems until you get it tunned. Just dont boost the crap out of it without knowing your limits. Nothing weird should happen unless you got your boost controller setting turned on which will stop you from starting the car. hope this info helps Ak
