Im looking into a Garret T04 and are confused what the specs talk about. heres the specs: * m10 comp cover, * ~48mm compressor diameter, * exh-ar 1.32 exh housing, * its a big base single pulse flange * new il cooled centre bearing housing * 300-400hp flow * Big boost application - it would need a hi flow- ie biger compressor and cover bolted on * needs an external wastegate anyone know what this means. Also does anyone know how much a external wastegate for this turbo would be for RB25. cheers ak

  7. anyone know if most T04 turbos have internal or exteral wastegates? and what costs have people had when putting a T04 onto their RB25.   11. Thanks for all the opinion ive decided not to purchase the s14 turbo. As this turbo would not be efficient to run on a skyline. Ill just keep an eye out for another turbo. cheers ak

  13. Wouldnt this turbo be better even though its a bit smaller it could produce more boost? e.g 17psi. Our turbo has the damn ceramic turbine so max 14psi able to run before blowing up.

  17. He guys my mate is selling his S14 Garret T-28 Turbo. Im interested to know if this is a good upgrade over the standard r33 turbo. The specs are below. Im planning to run 17psi out of this turbo if possible. Turbo specs: Compressor: T-28, 60 trim 60 mm BCI-1 compressor in T-04B housing Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.   22. Well i am saying the bov is helping me shift quicker (quicker gear changes). But the lag im describing is extra fuel in the system due to the bov being a vent to air. Thus slows downs the acceleration / pickup. so after this test i reckon stock is better. Anyone agree?

  24. The lag im talkiing about is related to the acceleration (over fueling). But you still have quicker gear changes. Does anyone know how to adjust the SAFC to fix this problem. Regards Ak
