After playing around with my aftermarket Blitz BOV today i come to a conclusion with aftermarket BOV's that i believe that everyone faces. * When you have the stock bov the car runs better / (LEANER). * Then as soon as the Blitz BOV was installed LAG!, 2 much fuel (RICH). Slower acceleration but quicker gear changes. * I believe that have a vent to air causes the ecu to put more fuel into the system and possibly retard the timing. * More fuel means less economy!!! What are peoples opinion with this.

Well i have a Blitz DD BOV- The fluter sound is only produced between 1 - 3 rpm and over 3rpm is the pssh sound. I reckon the flutter sound is damn good. HEHEHE!

Well my R33 GTST - M SPEC Series 1, only weights 1290KG, which has no ABS. But the car is light and quick, HEHEHE!

Best to get a SAFC when you put the Z32 installed!

ive got a series 1 r33 as well with the same problem. I worked it out to be the setup of the boost controller. usual setup intercooler line - boost controller - wastegate. - doesnt work new setup intercooler line bov return line - boost controller - wastegate - works 100% As you can see it must be something to do with the bov return line that makes the car boost more. my car boosts to 15psi nps. cheers Ak hope it helps

Hey nrage so if i get a T04 would i need to run high boost to make efficient power of the turbo. What rpm does your boost starts. How does it run with 15psi boost? Would i need malpassi rising rate fuel regulator?

Hi ive recently replaced my coils packs and rails and ignitor module with some stronger ones and have to clear my old ones. Coils & Rails - $180 ono, unknown condition. Ignitor Module - $100, works 100% PM me if interested. AK

At the moment im running 15psi on my stock turbo but it seems to feel like its not making full power so i need to upgrade it. I think also im leaning out a bit so i might need a new fuel pump.

anyone got a T4 on their R33, comments welcome.

What do people reckon if i get a T4 HighFlow for a street use car. would it be a bit laggy? I want to run 16psi on stock internals. My mods are below: R33 2.5L, Stock Turbo, FMIC, 3'' Exhaust System. Would it be fun to have as i have a large cooler. Cheers AK

Well Ive got the stock air box cut up, A pipe running down into the guard where my POD filter is, that is covered with a shield to protect from water. The car runs much more responsive than the engine bay. The best is cold nights the car just launches. Hope it helps Cheers AK

Robo's - thanks for the advise cause im getting a PFC asap which will enable me to tune my afr. I found out today from another mechanic that my car is extremely rich so yeh hopefully problem will disapear soon. I recommend to anyone with mild mods to get a new ECU or a SAFC to balance the ECU. Because it makes sense. 1 -4RPM not much fuel so boost quick and hard then 4PRM + too much fuel and boogs down. Thanks in advance Rob AK

Oyabun, Are you from BMT, if so can i bring my car in for a dyno tune to hopefully fix this problem. I dont have an aftermarket computer. Can i still get a dyno tune done? cheers AK

anyone thought maybe our 0.8 gapping is wrong. maybe a 0.7 gapping with timing 15 advanced? giving it ago let you guys know if it works.

Yeh i think they are the pivot ones ill have a look later. Ive reduced the price of the tacho as well so if anyone wants the lot let me know asap.
