After a full major service today thinking my misfiring/poping would disappper has not helped.
i ran 14psi on my r33 series 1 at 4000 - 5000 rpm she would misfire bad. I got a pod, highflow cat, 3'' exhaust system and a custom fmic. As a result i have to run the factory boost level to avoid this problem.
Anyone got definate solution to this nightmare we are all having.
Well heres my plan of attack in the next few weeks and will update this post with results.
1. Coils (another pair)
2. SAFC
3. Z32 AFM
4. Electronic boost controller (I might have a faulty bleed value_
If it doesnt get better im gona go nuts. any comment welcome as im runnng out of ideas
Thanks in advance

ok ive given that a go but i connected a hose appearing from the turbo out piping going to the throddle and another to the wastgate. Now its boosting unlimited boost ? I cannot control it!
Does anyone know why cause it boosted to 14psi but goes higher. might blow the turbo if it happens to boost high.
thanks in advance

Help not boosting over 10PSI. WTF!
Hey guys i was reading my boost gauge the other day thinking that my boost was set to 12psi. Its only reading 10psi. I have recently put a intercooler on and have resulted in the following setup for my boost controller.
Hes the situation. My boost controller - turbosmart one. is connected to the bov vacum line and the wastegate wtf.
Is this right? I also cant connect the vacum line to the turbo pipe as there is no plug to connect to. And i have already disconnected the stock boost controller.
any pics welcome, thanks in advance

planning to run lots of HP, ok it takes a couple of days to put on a cooler and make piping, depends on when the shop is busy. I had the guys working on mine most of the day so they could do it in one day. But i had the intercooler and piping ready.

the size is prob around 700 x 280 x 70. The price i quoted was just an rough figure wasnt more than $1600 but this upgrade was done within a day. But its usually cheaper if you leave you car there for a week or 2.
Labour is the main factor with intercooler upgrades. Very time consuming job. one more thing this includes a new electric radiator fan not clutch fan to make way for the cooler piping so it removes some weight of the engine pullys.
cheers
