I didn't see them throw it on the road. I saw two guys standing next to paint tins laughing. Put 2 and 2 together. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go and see if they had a getaway car. I scrubbed hard with some paint remover stuff (turps or metho) and it cleared it up (no damage to the sexy black paint) but left some white streaks. I got this cleaned at a car wash (due to water restrictions). It's mostly gone but I'm taking it to get detailed on Wednesday (earliest booking). It's not overly noticable but if you look carefully you'll be able to see it. :) I did take some photos and I'll post them when they get developed.

could you post pics of the seats? i don't particularly want to load 30 images just to view the seats.

I was driving home yesterday after picking my sister up from the city, on Canterbury Rd (bit before my street) some 2 wankers of ethnic decent (have a guess) decided to put some white paint on the road. I didn't have enough time to react and drove over it. When I got home (1 minute away) I took a look and there's all this white paint all on the bottom and behind my tyres. Basically the entire lower half had speckles of white paint! On my 10 day old R32! Who the fck does sh!t like this? seriously? I'm so pissed off right now. I called the cops last night in the hope they would do something (not sure if they did but I heard sirens going off and then stopping near by), anyway I'm gonna make an official complaint now! Gonna have to get this detailed or something like that!.

hmmm...I'm in the same boat aswell. My GTS-t is running 225/50/16. I currently have Yoko A539 but I've been doing some research and it's been quite negative. Here's the current list of tyres I'm looking at (in 225/50/16) which some prices: Falken ST115 - $198 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 - $180 Dunlop FM901 - $220 Yokohama A539 - $185 Bridgestone G3 - $210 Bridgestone S03 - $240 Hankook K104 - (couldn't get a price) Pirelli P7000 - $185 Sumitomo HTR Z50 - $145 now as you can see I have a big dilemma. The Sumitomo's are dirt cheap and apparently are quite good. But the fella at Jax said they're cheap and nasty. He recommended the Kumho or the Hankook. The bloke who recommended the Sumitomo's swears by them. He said bang for you buck there is none better. They're made from the Dunlop factory so it's not of dodgey quality, and they do handle well. MOTOR's recent tyre view had the Hankook come up first (I'm told this I haven't had a chance to take a look). Dunlop FM901's are noisy - not sure if the exhaust will cover that noise. The S03's are soft like the G3 and the A539. I'm trying to do some research about the Sumitomo's. I'll report back very soon. (I need new tyres by Saturday).

I know a Hollandia sunroof (it's the Porsche of sunroofs) is about $2K installed. I'm guess it'd be a fair bit cheaper from a dealer. I know my mate got a sunroof installed in his 205GTi by a Pug dealer for around $500 (I think). I know it wasn't anywhere near the $2K mark. Also in summer I think the prices go up.

Ask a Nissan dealer if they can put a S15 sunroof in your car. That's what I was gonna do if I got a R32 without one, but I'm lucky I found one with a factory sunroof

Roy - I read that thread about the gauges and I'm a little iffy about it. Plus the it doesn't look that good. 2GU UP - thanks for the instructions. I try and have a crack at it this weekend. (If / when you can upload, the pics will be of great help!)

how do I change the dash lights then? (as in how the hell do I open it up?)

firstly is the clock that sits under the tacho meant to be backlit (so when you turn on the lights you can see the time) - mine don't can i can never tell the time in the car secondly the display for the climate control doesn't come on all the time (some time is displays, other times it won't.) Is there anything I can do to make it work all the time? (the a/c etc... works by the way).

As above, I'm after a stock steering wheel in good condition (no marks etc...) mine's a bit ferral. I'm in Sydney but I'm willing to pay post for one that's in good condition. I have an old Momo wheel in good condition if you want to swap.
