  1. about $3,000-$5,000 try www.toymods.org.au last time I checked there were a few for sale. If you do plan to get one, be careful as they're old cars (around 20 years) so rust is the biggest killer of them. The engines you'd want are 4AGE (100kW Japland standard - Aus got 4ACE which is about 85kW), 4AGZE (supercharged), the 20valve (I can't remember the engine code). My mate has a 20V and it sounds mighty sweet, goes pretty hard for an older N/A car.
  2. speaking of NV plates etc...I reckon your premiums should go up if you have a wanky rego plate.
  3. omg, liek lern tu speel! ure grama is teh suk azz azwel. I take it you don't even have your license...
  4. over $90,000 has been spent on that car (read the bit under the specs). for $40K I reckon you could get close to 1000bhp. How much as Leewah spent on his beast? does the 15 year import rule apply to private imports?
  5. why? next time they might not be so fortunate and take out an innocent bystander.
  6. surely they can't give you a speeding ticket after you've asked for the radar and been denied?
  7. got a pic of the 17's?? cat back or turbo back? pics of the engine bay? e-mail : [email protected] please and i'll post them (if they're too large to attach) also what year is the R32?
  8. exactly what I was gonna say. chromies are ghey.
  9. I thought the NSX was Aus delivered as I've seen a few in various Honda showrooms. The reason why you've probably only seen one on the road is that they're over priced.
  10. i've read rumours that it'll be using the same block as the 350Z - which if it is should be very exciting as the VQ35DE cranks "only" 208kW. equip the twin turbos and the VQ35DETT should be seeing a lot more than the Jap limit of 208kW - maybe 300? Also I think the GT-R will have the different shape than the link about... I'm guessing something cross between a R34 and the 350Z...it will be an outrage if the R35 GT-R doesn't have the tail lights!
  11. siksII - go to court, you should be able to get a good behaviour bond thingy where basically you're on 1 point for a year - lose that point and you're done, keep that point with no infringements and you get all your points back (I think). Or you might be able to convince the judge that you need the car for work (or to get to work) and so you've got a restricted license - you can only drive during the day...try those options...
  12. on the weekend some more lame plates I saw: RUL33T (are you L337 - gnerd speak) on a 206CC 2 TEAZ on an 80's Twin Cam 16 Corolla with fully sick 'zorst.
  13. is this it http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...&category=45571 ??
  14. i dragged a Paddy Wagon. Copper then proceeded to mouth me off and told me to slow down despite being at the speed limit.
  15. Just wondering what kinda security systems you guys have on your 'lines. I'm in the midst of purchasing a R32 and was wondering what kinda security I should get. I'm thinking either getting Quiktrak installed ($1,990 + $360 each subsequent year) - this is satellite tracking and they can shut the car down at any time or the Brant Nemesis ($990) - this is like a 6 or 7 point immobiliser, black wiring etc...claimed to be top of the range and highly recommended by the insurance companies. Also been said that the wiring diagram is only available internally (ie. not available on the 'net). What do you guys reckon? I live in a pretty shonky area (Punchbowl, NSW) so I'd like to lower my insurance and highten my security a bit. Thanks in advance. no this is not a ploy to get you to reveal your car's security
  16. $650 all up is alot? geeezz tell us where you get your parts!
