  1. Hey all, I'm after a few ideas where i can put my hand controller. I currently have it stuck next to my climate control display using Velcro, but I'm not real happy with it. So where is yours mounted/sitting? Pics would be excellent.
  2. Yep 10:30 start registrations close at 9:30 that morning i think, It's about 5km up the road from my house Will definitely be up there having a look.
  3. Hey all, just installed my Power FC and Boost controller now she needs a tune. Anyone had any experience with Southside Performance in Burnie? Good or bad?
  4. Looks a little odd without being lowered or maybe it's just the angle. I wouldn't worry too much about the water, I wash my engine bay pretty often and haven't had any problems with it yet. I don't think a whole lot of water would get in there anyway.
  5. Geez, that would be rough as guts. You obviously never go off road with it then.
  6. Thanks guys, Looks like Kero and Water is the go then. Will give it a go today
  7. Hello Ladies and Gents, I went through some roadworks the other day and they were putting tar on the road and guess what is now all over my front bar and side skirts? Anyone know of any good products to get it off? Cheers.
  8. I used Narva 2.8mm female connectors and just put them straight onto the pins that come out of the ballast. Just cut the wires going to your low beams and crimp the connectors on and and they work perfectly. It's not water proof but i might put some heat shrink or a rubber boot over the connection to keep the water out. I looked around for the right plug for it for a while but couldn't find what i wanted. The HID's look awesome at night, million times better than halogens.
  9. Ah good stuff, Should be the goods. Might have to come up for a drive one day and check it out.
  10. I'm in the same boat as you mate. I'm going give Jim Berry a call and see what he can do for me when i have some spare cash. RACE CLUTCH - Jim Berry 26 Gladys St Stones Corner QLD 4120 Phone: 07 3847 9999
  11. Why even ask for opinions if you have your mind made up on what your going to do anyway? You have been given advice only to label them "useless" and "ugly". Way to go.
  12. Not 100% sure, Might give Jim Berry a call and see what he can do for me. I have heard he can do a pretty good set up for about $900. Even if it's a bit more it doesn't worry me. I just don't want something that is going to be heavy and a dog in traffic.
  13. Uncle Kevin is buying me a new clutch for the 34
  14. Where are you mate? Might be interested in the rear bar.
  15. LOL, So your a drag racer and you don't think tyres and suspension set up make a difference at the track. If you are such an experienced racer why are you asking us how you should be modifying your car? Surely you would have more idea than all of us. After all you have driven a Ferrari.
  16. Name: Kyle Age: 19 Job: Labourer From: Smithton Drive: '98 R34 GT-t Mods: Turbo Back Exhaust, Pod, Splitfires, EBC, Turbo Timer, Clear Front & Side Indicators. I have a box of goodies waiting for here arrival (Power FC, Fuel Reg, Boost Gauge & HID Kit). Just waiting to get it over From WA after moving back home to Tassie. Future Mods: Fuel Pump, Z32 AFM, Highflowed Turbo, Injectors, FMIC, Suspention, Then Cosmetics & Interior. Still looks the same as the pic minus the GTR rims.
  17. Cheers for the reply, I'm not aware of any places nearby in Tassie that do compliance. So the Bosch HID's are pretty much of no use to me now? How do they "Hack up the lenses"? (What is done) Thanks.
  18. Hi Guys and Girls, I just brought a Bosch HID kit for my R34, I have searched and realized that the kit i have (D2R) will not fit in my compliance bulb holders (H1). What I'm wondering is what do they do exactly during compliance to make the low beams H1 and can it be reversed or am I up for new headlights? I know i can just get H1 HID globes but i would rather use the D2R globes that the light housing is designed for. Thanks in advance. PS.I have moved interstate and won't have my car here for about a month so I can't have a look to sus it out.

    Roads?

It's even worse here in WA, I'm keen to move back home and get my Skyline over there to some corners and i think i might have to get another road bike too hehe. And while I'm here, What are the cops like for giving out yellow stickers or defects over there? Because they just love giving them out over here, But all the time while i was growing up in Tassie i don't think i ever heard of anyone getting a defect unless the car was pretty well stuffed. So do you guys get much trouble for Front mounts and the like? Sorry for hijacking your thread dude
