spotted a black r33 going past immigration up chan street at around 430 yesterday arvo.. i was walking accross the zebra crossing you were meant to stop not speed up..

i dont think we should have a problem. it looks as thought they are targeting unregistered and nuinsured cars and unlicenced drivers.. im pretty sure that everyone on here has their car registered and insured in some way (and if you dont you are stupid) and have licences.. and if their cars are unregistered that in my view they diserve to get caught because they shouldnt be on the road, registration might be expensive (i should know because i paid mine on friday) but it is there for a reason

you only have to go over dickson if you car is modified.. ie coilovers, aftermarket turboes, front mount etc. in which case you will need to get a engineers certificate and then go over dickson. exhausts are usually fine unless they are too loud. if this in the case with your exhaust the belconnen exhaust centre can cut the cannon off and put a pea shooter on the end for about $250 or something, they put flanges so that you can swap the cannon back yourself after you get the car registered. ZCR and myself did this and i recommend it as dickson didnt even look at my exhaust when they saw the tiny pea shooter on the end, they didnt bother doing a dB check either

well monday last week (27th) i was heading out to the physio at lunch time. anyway sitting at the lights all the speakers (except the subwoofer) suddenly cut out. got home and checked all the fuses, nothing. checked the amps, both were getting power. went back to elite car sound and vision in belconnen because they were the people that put the sound system in and told them what happenned and they all seemed very perplexed. booked the car in for monday (3rd). dropped the car off in the morning and got a call an hour later.. it turned out that all the internal fuses and wiring on one of my amps had failed, i believe they refered to it as 'catastrophic failure'. scott got on the phone to the rep from soundstream (manafacturer of the amplifier) and told him what had gone on and that i had spent a fair bit of money on the sound system (all soundstream: speakers, amps, sub etc). the rep said that i can either wait for the repairs on the amp which would be 4-6 weeks or i can upgrade to their latest and more powerful amp for $50. long story short, i got a brand new amp, filter and wiring in the left front door installed for only $50!! these guys really do some awesome quality work, this is the 3rd car that they have done for me. first was a mild upgrade for my camry thena full on system for my BMW and now my magna, camry, magmry, camgna whatever never had any problems.. highly recomend them to anyone

went and saw max payne the movie last week.. since then i have reinstalled and completed the first game and i am currently playing max payne 2.. they are both still awesome seeings at the first game is roughly 7-8 years old and the second game is 5-6 years old.. much fun

im think (hoping) that it is just a leak somewhere in the piping. that might also explain why the boost only went up 1psi after adding the front mount, i didnt think the stock unit would have been that efficient.

hi guys, i had my FMIC installed on tuesday and now whenever i hit full boost (10-11psi) the turbo emmits a really high pitched whine.. obviously the problems between the rb's and the 1j's will be different but the issues would definatly be similar with regards to turbos, any and all information is much appriciated cheers nerm
