  1. Are you refering to a R32 GTS-T "Type M"?
  2. Great, then you, me and Demon Dave will meet up (with our respective other halves) then? It`ll be sweet, coz at least the ladies will be occupied while the boyz run riot with the digicams/disposables taking "shots" heh, heh...
  3. My next question is: Do you have aero mirrors yet? Forget the stickers... I think having standard factory mirrors are worse than being called rice.
  4. Yeah, the "H15" is more used in official situations, TV news, and office documents etc, but magazines, regular TV shows and popculture related stuff of course use 2003 randomly. Are you going to TAS `04 DaiOni?
  5. Yeah, by "period" I mean reigning emporer. I`m suprised they didn`t teach you about it... it`s an every day factor of Jap life.

    The New GT-R...!!!

Gemballa aren`t the same Company as Porcshe are they? No? So Nissan just has to make a better car than the standard 911 Turbo, and Nismo/Altia will do the rest to get that Nurburgring record.
  7. Predator... you should read "The New GT-R...!" thread, it has all the answers. Oh, and it seems like it`s getting delayed and delayed because of one man... Carlos "Nissan is MY bitch" Ghosn.
  8. The 3UZFE is out of the Japanese Celsior... and I think its the Lexus SC430 in Oz? Bugger the 3UZFE, someone should put the 1GZFE V12 out of the Toyota Century into a Trueno or an Altezza, cut n` shut, I know but... can you imagine?
  9. No GT-R at the Tokyo Show man... we`d been saying that in the 2 months leading up to the TAS...
  10. The "H" stands for the first letter of the "Period" that the Japanese are in. In this case the "Heisei" peroid. So eg: "H1" is the first year of the Heisei period. The Heisei period started in Jan 1989, so H1 = 1989, H2 = 1990, H3 = 1991 as so on. Before the "Heisei" peroid, it was the "Showa" period, and this period started way back in Dec 1926 and continued until 1989. Thats why (when we refer to AE86 Trueno`s and the like) theres always a "S61" or "S62" "S63" along side the name of the car on auction documents from Japan. Can I ask how you translated all that kanji without knowing the Japanese calendar? Just curious!
  11. That should be 1995 dude... H7 = 1995.
  12. strutto is right, the position of the nut countersinkings in relation to the spokes clearly shows it is indeed a 5 stud rim. Can you "4 stud guys" tell us why you say it`s a 4 stud rim?
  13. As long as you get your money??? Your OPENLY decieving people mate! You should go on the recieving end sometime, see how you like it, f*cking up your forum... Now be a good boy, delete your post, and p!ss off.
  14. Hey commi16, I`m trying to decide which catagory you belong to, click the links and decide for us will you? Ta mate. I`m a "frustrated teen":whackit: I`m a retarded spammer Both of the above Cheers
  15. Whats the commotion about? Of course it`s bloody 5 stud. I mean... *cough*... there`s 2 studs hidden coz of the "dish" of the center section of the wheel. Bugger the 3 studs... a more pressing matter is why is this thread in existence???
  16. "... and Bloomberg Television will be trackside..." Heh, heh, I hope they went to the right venue!

    The New GT-R...!!!

Mmmm, I`ve been inquiring about this, and it seems that that quoted output figure is very close to the JGTC engine output... which is why I typed (in the first post of this thread) "is the JGTC car using motor-assisted spool-up turbos and direct injection?". No one has been able to confirm, but my contact says the power will be *less than* 480hp. I know the article said power would be "over" 480, but I guess that may have been to catch a few more sales...? Whatever the case, the new GT-R will topple Porche... thats their goal.

    The New GT-R...!!!

Thanks for the link Supafly Theres two things about that linked article above that don't sit right: Ghosn says: "... it was impractical to think we could get it all done by 2005 so that left 2007". Thats just him saying that the GT-R won't be to his liking before 2007... I swear he wants as much input in the new GT-R as possible and that just messes up the process. People who live in Perth will understand when I say that this situation with Ghosn and the GT-R is very much like ex-Premier Richard Court and the Bell Tower fiasco. He wasn't going to f*ck off until he left his mark.... eg: expect the new GT-R to be a lemon compared to the R32/33/34 if Ghosn interferes too much... Also, I noticed the "journalist" Kevin Hepworth didn't even have the (brain)power to click his damn mouse to find out that it ain't an "R"35 Skyline! Pffft.

    The New GT-R...!!!

    The New GT-R...!!!

2007? heh, I`m not suprised really... I`ve heard 2005, 2006 and now 2007... Actually, come to think of it, it`s gonna take Carlos "I want people to see my face when they think of Nissan" Gohsn about another 4 years to get the new GT-R where *HE* wants it... leave the Japs alone and we`d see the new car in `05. By the way Jimbo, where did you get that quote?
  21. Guys, guys... Forgive me if I`m wrong, but aren`t there 2 elements in each globe? If your car has only one globe per headlight, on low-beam, the 50-odd watt element lights up... and on high-beam, the 90 watt whatever element lights up? I understood that if you wanted these "HID type" halogens on a 4-headlight car, you have to decide whether you want to upgrade the low-beam or high-beam... Am I wrong? I`ve only ever seen these Raybrigs on my brothers PAS trophy winning Toyota LiteAce (which is a 2 headlight van) and they were normal wattage on low-beam, and a higher wattage on high-beam.
  22. Craved, Raybrig say the RR15`s are for the "4 headlight" cars as well... I guess that means R33`s.
  23. Grandenko, thanks very much for that, I overlooked the wattage rating. But I understood (with the Raybrig globes) that 90w was when hi-beam is on? Usually the globes are 55w on lo-beam...?
  24. They`re the "Sonic White 90w 5000K H1`s" that I posted up. They`re a bit more expensive than the $50 ones... the $50 ones are like brighter/clearer standard globes (still got a yellow tinge), I think? The Sonic ones are as you see in the pic.
