  1. strutto is right, the position of the nut countersinkings in relation to the spokes clearly shows it is indeed a 5 stud rim. Can you "4 stud guys" tell us why you say it`s a 4 stud rim?
  2. As long as you get your money??? Your OPENLY decieving people mate! You should go on the recieving end sometime, see how you like it, f*cking up your forum... Now be a good boy, delete your post, and p!ss off.
  3. Hey commi16, I`m trying to decide which catagory you belong to, click the links and decide for us will you? Ta mate. I`m a "frustrated teen":whackit: I`m a retarded spammer Both of the above Cheers
  4. Whats the commotion about? Of course it`s bloody 5 stud. I mean... *cough*... there`s 2 studs hidden coz of the "dish" of the center section of the wheel. Bugger the 3 studs... a more pressing matter is why is this thread in existence???
  5. "... and Bloomberg Television will be trackside..." Heh, heh, I hope they went to the right venue!

    The New GT-R...!!!

Mmmm, I`ve been inquiring about this, and it seems that that quoted output figure is very close to the JGTC engine output... which is why I typed (in the first post of this thread) "is the JGTC car using motor-assisted spool-up turbos and direct injection?". No one has been able to confirm, but my contact says the power will be *less than* 480hp. I know the article said power would be "over" 480, but I guess that may have been to catch a few more sales...? Whatever the case, the new GT-R will topple Porche... thats their goal.

    The New GT-R...!!!

Thanks for the link Supafly Theres two things about that linked article above that don't sit right: Ghosn says: "... it was impractical to think we could get it all done by 2005 so that left 2007". Thats just him saying that the GT-R won't be to his liking before 2007... I swear he wants as much input in the new GT-R as possible and that just messes up the process. People who live in Perth will understand when I say that this situation with Ghosn and the GT-R is very much like ex-Premier Richard Court and the Bell Tower fiasco. He wasn't going to f*ck off until he left his mark.... eg: expect the new GT-R to be a lemon compared to the R32/33/34 if Ghosn interferes too much... Also, I noticed the "journalist" Kevin Hepworth didn't even have the (brain)power to click his damn mouse to find out that it ain't an "R"35 Skyline! Pffft.

    The New GT-R...!!!

2007? heh, I`m not suprised really... I`ve heard 2005, 2006 and now 2007... Actually, come to think of it, it`s gonna take Carlos "I want people to see my face when they think of Nissan" Gohsn about another 4 years to get the new GT-R where *HE* wants it... leave the Japs alone and we`d see the new car in `05. By the way Jimbo, where did you get that quote?
  10. Guys, guys... Forgive me if I`m wrong, but aren`t there 2 elements in each globe? If your car has only one globe per headlight, on low-beam, the 50-odd watt element lights up... and on high-beam, the 90 watt whatever element lights up? I understood that if you wanted these "HID type" halogens on a 4-headlight car, you have to decide whether you want to upgrade the low-beam or high-beam... Am I wrong? I`ve only ever seen these Raybrigs on my brothers PAS trophy winning Toyota LiteAce (which is a 2 headlight van) and they were normal wattage on low-beam, and a higher wattage on high-beam.
  11. Craved, Raybrig say the RR15`s are for the "4 headlight" cars as well... I guess that means R33`s.
  12. Grandenko, thanks very much for that, I overlooked the wattage rating. But I understood (with the Raybrig globes) that 90w was when hi-beam is on? Usually the globes are 55w on lo-beam...?
  13. They`re the "Sonic White 90w 5000K H1`s" that I posted up. They`re a bit more expensive than the $50 ones... the $50 ones are like brighter/clearer standard globes (still got a yellow tinge), I think? The Sonic ones are as you see in the pic.
  14. Here are some pics... And I believe Rabrig are as good as PIAA... dochi demo iiyo.
  15. Right Craved, you mean the *fore/aft* angle of the suspension from the road surface to the strut top. I read what you wrote and I thought you were talking about camber for a moment... But yeah, Google taught me heaps of sh!t I was afraid to ask about. Google is good. Use it.
  16. Sorry about that Kutter, you know how it is... Mouldy old PM`s deleted.
  17. Common sense prevails in an Australian Government department!!! OMFG ...I think I`m gonna faint... Nah, good news, I think a few lads can take a sigh of relief.
  18. Thats great Sonic... I`m not contesting that. I`m saying that "Corporate decisions" that make the GT-R a *GT-R*, that Carlos Gohsn seems tp think are so unmarketable outside Japan eg: it`s name (Skyline heritage), and styling (the engine fiasco has been put to rest thank god) I mean, Carlos fooked up about the V8 didn`t he? Haa, ha... So as I say... don`t take everything he says (from now on!) as gospel... he is after all a FOREIGNER in Japan, and any of you guys who have been to Japan to live will know, foreigners don`t run things...
  19. Even though Carlos "I`ve got yellow fever" Gohsn is the CEO of Nissan, I wouldn`t hang on everything he says. That guy has some serious relationship issues with the Japanese at Nissan, that could very well effect what actually is decided upon... ie: the Japanese overturning some of his "corporate" decisions. Thats what people (my mates) are saying in Japan.
  20. BB GodZilla and Scotty, please drop me a PM or e-mail via my site (click on my sig) and I`ll take it from there, cheers.
  21. I can get them.
  22. I see you used the "200SX" as an example there Sonic, but there is no 200SX in Japan... so your actually referring to what the GT-R will be marketed as *in Australia* are you not? **I only ever refer to Japan fellas, I don't know what the bloody GT-R is going to be called in Oz, thats IF you get it at all. In Japan, it's a V35 Skyline GT-R... woohoo!
  23. You say the new GT-R is a *totally* different car, yet you still think the chassis designation is in accordance with previous RB engined GT-R`s so your calling it an "R"35? That doesn`t make sense. And no, the whole "The New GT-R is a Whole different car from the Skyline" is just bollocks that Carlos Gohsn told the AMERICAN press. They (well, Gohsn) can`t sell the GT-R under the Infinity label, so they have to go a different route. But who cares what they`re doing in the US anyway? In Japan (the only place that matters when it comes to Skylines and the GT-R), there is no difference between the Skyline and the GT-R. There will be no differentiation between them. The GT-R will be know as the V35 (Skyline) GT-R. That makes sense, doesn`t it? And remember, my original post in this thread was talking about the Sedan and Coupe, NOT about a car that hasn`t even been released yet...
