  1. Is it a genuine RS Turbo, or is it an A-Spec with a transplant?
  2. Guys, I`m just doing a little survey, it seems that most of the R30 Skyline gear available in Japan is exclusively for the DR30 RS/RS Turbo. So my question is: Are there many RS Turbo`s (with the FJ20DET donk) in Australia? Even if you don`t have an R30, please help me out by just telling me what you know. If it turns out that R30 RS`s are virtually non-existent, I`ll think twice about stocking parts for them... unless people can tell me what RS Turbo parts will fit an A-Spec (Aussie Spec heh, heh) DR30?
  3. I don`t think there is an R30 exhaust on the K`s Online Garage site. Actually, the Jenesis R31 Cat-back exhaust would be about A$216 to ship...
  4. I got my GT Force for 9,800 yen (A$130), and at the Tokyou Game Show, they predicted the GT Force PRO would cost about 20,000 (A$266). They GT Force Pro has a proper gearstick... but it`s on the righthand side!!! WHY??? Why can`t they make it detachable so you can put it on the left?
  5. Thats sweet, but they still make the crowd look like they`re a bunch of carboard cut-out people...
  6. I don`t know how they`ve divvied up the two disks, but GT4 is going to stick it to the competition BIG TIME. The other games in this category are: XboX (Microc0ck) - Project Gotham Racing 2 sega - GT Online Taito - Battle Gear 3 Genki - Chain Reaction Namco - R:Racing Evolution But these games are all single disk jobbies, although Chain Reaction looks good, ALL of them are going to be beaten down by the mighty 2-disk GT4... A GT Force Pro steering wheel will be available at extra cost Games in Japan usually go for 6,800 yen (A$90.50) I can`t wait...
  7. Thats right guys, Gran Turismo 4 Prologue will be released in Japan in December! It`s THE FIRST HALF of a TWO DISK compilation, spanning 500 cars, 50 courses and goodies that they don`t tell you about!!! Damn it, this is going up on my site as soon as I can find a supplier!!!! Peoples, you`ve got 1 and a half months to chip your Aussie spec PS2`s.... All those who want a copy please raise your hands!!!!!! (Sorry mods - I thought nobody would see this in the Computer game section...)
  8. Frameless doors ring a bell? Click my sig.
  9. I just figured out why I like the Stagea over the Legnum... The Stagea is a "Hardtop" wagon... oh, and you can get `em with an RB26DETT... oh, and it`s a Nissan... oh, and they come in FR as well as 4WD... yay.
  10. Thats right Ed, all 2-door R33 GTS25-t`s are "Type M`s"... ... but there are a re couple of 4-door GTS25-t`s that are referred to as "Type G`s"...
  11. That auto-parking feature is on the Aussie model? I thought that stuff was only for the Japanese domestic market? I mean, it`s not really a necessity in Australia is it?
  12. darK, those pics Maxx posted are what 99% of Legnum VR-4 owners do... they just don`t cut it along side the MIGHTY STAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!:D:D
  13. Guys don`t bomb Legnums like they do Stageas...
  14. I`ll go easy on the caps next time... it wasn`t my intention to make this an argument.... sorry:D
  15. Soooooo, all this begs the question: Why aren`t there mass protests or petitions or SOMETHING happening to counter this? I`m sure if one of the more prominent car enthusiasts set up a meeting with the authorities to show them that a) all these little piss-weak excuses for defecting cars are giving the responsible car enthusiast the shits... and it`s getting worse, and B) if they wanna get all technical on our asses, then they should PROVE that the modification in question is illegal and/or dangerous to pedestrians or whatever it is that they say with oh so much conviction while their scribbling out a defect notice...
  16. Honestly dAVE, I don`t have a clue about the Aussie market and whether or not it goes on sale in Oz is anyones guess? All I know is that there is a X-Trail 2.0GT here in Japan with a SR20VET (check it out here - it`s the one furtherest on the left) that goes head-to-head with the Mitubishi Airtrek Turbo R (top one in Black)
  17. Considering all GT-R dashboards have the steering wheel on the right, I`d have to agree with you!
  18. Where is that... in the middle east or somewhere? A left-hand drive GT-R is not a GT-R... you hear that Carlos Gohsn?!!!? :headslap:
  19. I disagreed with: What I meant was: A professional will gladly deal with 10,000 f*ckwits in a row, and not let it affect their outlook. Total customer service. Nice. Thats all...
  20. I`m sorry dude, I just scanned their site, and they give 2 different ABN`s(Australian Business Numbers) for the same business name! Check the ABN they give in the "Contact Us" part, then have a look in the "Products" section, and click on the "Policy" button, and look at the ABN they wrote under the "Refund Policy" section. Like 51jay said, their address is a PO Box in a shopping center! Theres not much you can do... sorry.
  21. Direct Injection is where the injectors are positioned so that they spay directly into the piston bore, as opposed to being positioned in the intake runners. Up until recently, Direct Injection was only used in low power applications, the most common (in Japan) being the Mitsubishi Galant GDI. As you can imagine, extremely precise air/fuel contol is possible with this, creating better fuel economy and much less emmissions. But now, Direct Injection and Turbo is the key to High-power/Low-emmissions... and Nissan is at the forefront as usual...
  22. No floody I think your right on the money... although some enthusiasts might cringe at the idea of a narrow angle cam placement, effectively a "One and a half" cam instead of a true twin cam (well, you know what I mean, the airflow through the narrow angle heads is hardly "performance" style), but the QR20VET might be getting direct injection... so the VVL, the Direct Injection and Turbo combo sounds good:)
  23. The engine in the current X-Trail 2.0GT is an SR20VET, so Nissan DOES have a habit of putting "V" in the engines code designation... ...skooled ya! j/k
  24. I disagree there Zensoku, the customers are the ones with the money... F*ckwit or not, they should be dealt with maturely... and their money promptly taken from them. Say a little "Enjoy the rest of your day!" and let them go about their business. They`ll be back, so rinse.. and repeat. That separates the pros from the amatures.
