  2. i know this is a old thread but i had one of these in my 2000 s2 stagea and it made alot of problems.. once on boost at about 4000rpm you would get like a fuel cut type feel.. it would loose all power for about 1-2seconds. once i put the original one back in the car was fine.. just some more info THnaks

  4. I bought this about 2 months ago and i don't think i'm going to get around to installing it. also need the cash for other things. so... its a greddy COPY Plenum to suit RB25det plus the 80mm TB to suit that Plenum. it looks good, the only thing which is what most people do anyway is to die grind the water galleiers to make them abit smoother, other than that it looks pretty good. Price - $450 for both + del Location - Ipswich, QLD Contact - Curtis - 0430 104 668 Thanks
  5. so even the R33 or R32 gtr stanliess kits you can get would fir cause there too short...
  6. does anyone know what lines to buy ( in kit form ) to suit the S2 Stagea with R33 GTS-T Calipers?? need to know so i can get them before i do this. also CHUCKIE did you need to put a sleave in the caliper so it doesn't move around?? Thanks Curt
  7. you could use a metal file maybe.. just be really carefull with it
  8. no don't use a clear coat.. i found a video on youtube about the paint and the guys says that it has a shine by itself.. i have recently used the red on mine, i'll get a pic soon for you.. i think a couple of other guys on here have used it too.. one guy used red as the base and then used gold over the top and left Nissan writing red, looked really good. Cheers Curt
  9. if you were installing this on a Neo RB25 would the standard injectors and rail fit?? and would i be able to fit say R33 GTS-T or GTR injectors and rail?
  10. can we get this stickied as it might help to show everyone that looks in here and doesn't forget about it again??
  11. i'm looking at getting a Nistune board installed but i need the car on the road all the time.. i hear that the ecu's are very similar to the R34 GT-T's. i was wondering if anyone had one to borrow or buy so i can send mine off to get done? Thanks Cutr
  12. i want that.. how did you do it??? how did you do the angel eyes?? SWEET!!!
  13. anyone else interested??
  14. order made... 3 out of 25.. its going to be years before anyone gets these!!! total price of mine with 1 custom logo and upgraded inverter was $250au
  15. i know this is old, so just to make it clear a set of R33 ( or R32 GTR ) stainless braided lines would fit from start of stagea lines to R33 calipers?
  16. will the front set fit a s2 stagea with R33 GTS-T Front calipers without the bung removed?? if so then the full set pictured should fit ( there for a R32 gtr), i believe the standard R32 gtr brakes are the same as the R33 GTS-T
  17. ok here is what has happened (yes i have searched) bought car couple of weeks ago, it was raining and the indicator was playing up when i was test driving it ( didn't think it was a big problem) the guy told me it only does it when it rains. on the way home from picking it up it worked fine up until today. i pulled it apart as the boost gauge light wasn't working, it is located ontop of the steering coloum between the wheel and the dash cluster. so i removed the panels around the steering wheel and noticed that the wiring for the gauge light was running directly off one of the plugs in the back of the steering wheel (its a brown plug with 3 wires and it was the middle one he used to run the positive light off). the earth wire was the one that came off to start with but i still can't find where that was connected. so i ran a new ground wire from the footwell and connected that.. after that, reassembled everything went to try and see if the light worked and now the left indicator stays on whenever you have the lights on, doesn't matter if its the parkers or normal. if you turn the lights off the indicators work fine. i found the clicker relay box under the dash for the indicators, unplugged it and the light still stayed on. also driving home from a bbq tonight the light was coming on and off as to say that there is a loose connection somewhere but i don't know where, everything was connected the same way it was before i touched anything.. i need some guidance if anyone has had a similar problem. Thanks Curt
  18. i'll give it a go next time.. would have to jack it up a fair way though..
  19. well if you can get a drip tray under the oil filter you doing pretty good. directly under it is the front diff casing which gives you just enough room to get a rag under there which doesn't do anything really
  20. so the other end of the lines that connect to the main lines on the car are the same on all skylines/stagea's?? so a R32 GTR set would do the job if i didn't remove the flare fitting? i just don't want to buy a set and then realise that its the wrong one. Thanks Curt
  21. so whats the go with the stainless lines.. i have a S2 and going to do the conversion but want to get new lines. after you take the screw thing out of the calipers to suit the stagea lines ( or will you have to do this if your getting new lines??) what lines will fit after you have done this? R32 gtr/R33 gtr/R33 GTS-T?
