nah its not the o-ring, i have never had one thats not come off.. it just seems when you unscrew it, as soon as you do that it just starting leaking cos its still full of oil

i'll have a look at the price of a cooler and relocation kit i suppose... does everyone have this problem??

hay just a quick one for you all.... i had this with my r32 as well (4wd). everytime i change the oil filter, it doesn't matter what i put under there or what i lose heaps of oil from it and it leaks all over the stuff below it and its really starting to shit me... what do you guys do to not lose sooo much oil? i'll be doing this shortly with a set of R33 GTS-T brakes (front and rear) .. the main reason why i'll be doing it is not only to decrease brake fade but more so for cosmetic looks. the look of the skyline brakes are heaps better than the standard stagea ones. but thats just me..

looking at doing this on my new stag just to clear up the engine bay and shorten the intercooler piping... has anyone completed this on a neo rb25?? if so, was it much different?? did you use the standard TB or get one of those 80mm ones?? thanks guys

well... the lights fit but.. with the 4 back ones i had to take apart the unit and there are 3 screws inside on the front board, undo them slighty and install those and do it up until its tight but not too tight. reassemble and should be all ok.. just make sure the wires make contact with the board.. also with these bulbs they are only orange in colour unless you kept the coloured condom things.

ok after that i think i have find what we are looking for its as posted in post #14, here is the website - http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefro...n/product/P8140 they are 12v, 5mm wide and with pigtails to wrap around the original holders.. i'm going to the shop tomorrow and i'll let you know how i go and post some pics.. and the best thing, there only $1.28 ea Thanks curt

i went into autobarn, supercheap, repco, jaycar and dicksmith today and none had anything like you were talking about... they had the t5 lights in a holder but they had like built in resisters which made it much larger and unable to mount in the original holder.. can you post some pics of the ones you got or can anyone tell me where to get the "wheat" style globes?? do you have to do anythin with the handbrake cables?? ( or should i say footbrake)

yeah it does fuel, timing and boost ( its got a little black box in the engine bay with a haltech sticker that says boost controller on it)

good things i have found with the S2 stagea is the room on the drivers side (except when the cup holders are out), and visablity aswell, also it has 3 mounts on the roof at the back for car seats. mine came modified and i had a R32 before this so i can't comment of the performance difference... BUT i was looking at a legnum until i found out that only afew people had done turbo conversions (not that i would have done one, but more to the fact that not many people knew about that side of things) when i went to look at some legnums they look different in person too, longer and skinner than i would have thought. good thing about the stagea is a nissan and its got a rb25 which everyone knows the insides of and you can get parts for very easily.. hope that helps Curt

yeah it was no problem... i think the stuff like the ecu and the turbo wouldn't be a biggie as he probably didn't know what to look for. . yeah i paid about 17k for it. and its only got 71,xxx on the clock. jezboosted - i'm actually from ipswich, close enough to brisbane. KiwiRS4T - i believe its adjustable from a laptop as the serial leads hangs down from the dash and sits under that passenger floor mat. but the trick is that where he got it tuned the guy has locked it and won't give him the codes, and if you try to get in you can clear the password but it clears the tune aswell..

hey guys, just wanted to show yous the new stag i picked up on friday night... its been tastefully modded with the usual front mount, apexi enhaust, hks gtrs kit, haltech interceptor, tein coilovers, 18" advanti's and camber and caster adjusters. i really like the car and even better now that i own one. look forward to talking to you guys about all the weird and wonderful things that are japanese!! lol

here are some photos of the remote unit and the reciever.. i played around with the remote and i can't get it to do much at all.. it beeps and the lights come on but thats about it. when you press the start button it beeps then the dash lights come on for about 1 sec then go off again. p.s i don't have a turbo timer installed

sorry to bring up an old tread but i just bought a S2 stagea and its got the thing infront of the mirror and its got a retro looking remote thing as well.. i'll post a pic when i get home.. its got start/stop - check and alarm set on the unit. can't get it too start though, the dash lights come on but go off straight away.

can R32 gtr calipers and rotors be used the same??

bump.. just looking at a pair of z32 calipers and just need to know if there the same as the r33 to fit the rotors?

are the z32 Brakes the same as the R33 ones??
