  3. I personally dont mind the rear bar! its something ive been considering for my 33 as well. As for the rest i dont like it. although the grey picture above posted by grantem kinda reminds my of the lamborghini everton...but still dont like it each to their own though

  5. The concept of it reaching $2.50 is pretty crazy! Im already paying $1.85 for bp ultimate....hence why im getting my lil honda nsr150sp ready for riding Im with colossus Bike for daily Line for fun.
  6. Im looking at trying this stuff out when i paint my motorbike soon...but im confused about what paint with pear offers....pearl paints, candy pearls, flakes, ghosts. Can anyone clear up the differences? Cheers
  7. some good results guys Im looking at doing mine soon! ill be using the metalcast blue as i just sprayed my strut bar with it and the colours mad. My cars white so blue should look good im just wondering how do you guys rekon the blue will look behind chrome wheels?
  8. I bought a cheap scungy one from super cheap auto was like $15 or something i think. it came with elastic in the base. i just unstitched the bottom took out the elastic and then pierced holes to slide over the existing pole things that held my factory gear boot in. dunno if this helps :S
  9. IF i had a dual stage boost controler set at 7 & 12psi with splitfires. Would you recomend 0.8 or 1.1 gapping?
  10. ah ok cool ive taken 3 out now and can see that there isnt anything wrong just looked a bit out of place at first! Hopefully this fixes the misfire problem. of the 3 ive taken out so far i havent been able ot see any cracks
  11. Hey guys, ive been having some misfire trouble so i went to take out my coilpacks to check for cracks and i dont think it has the right ones it it! The coil packs that are in there each have 3 screws? there is no fourth screw hole! but the cradle has 4 holes? and from what i can see in tutorials on removing them rb25 coils should have 4 screws? If you look closely its almost as though there is space around the packs as well as if they are too small! When i bought the car it came with no cover for that part of the engine either so maybe the swapped them out or something? Oh and while im here the pack at closest to the front seems to have oil around it? ive wiped it away a few times but it always come back Whats going on with my 33

  13. I think itd be good if we could get a rough price table or chart happening? Like how much you'd expect to pay for certain things. Example if you only needed your new front bar sprayed and what you could expect to pay depending on what prep work you had done.

Wells just thought id let everyone know that i gave my AFM another clean! redid all the solder joints again. this time it seemed to actually work! cars now running better than ever in some ways atleast With the afm back in its starting fine! Not sure if anyone saw my other thread but ive had troubles with the car backfiring over 5000rpm....afm fixed that.

Hey guys i got broken into last night The locksmith said its going to take 12weeks to import an r33 ignition barrel from japan because they cant get them locally(rekons he can only get r32 barrels) Where can i buy one? is there a locksmith on the mainland that may stock one? please help guys i gotta get my car running
  18. i got my first line about 6weeks ago and someones already tried stealing it! I woke up JUST THEN to my alarm beeping as u disarm it, looked out the window and someone was leaning in the drivers side door. Young guy early 20's wearing a hat. He looked up saw me looking out the window and ran off with another person(no idea where the 2nd person came from), they got in a car and drove off...couldnt see the car because of some bushes. So now im trying to stay awake incase they come back
  19. do others agree with b1 mr fanny? i need to get some contact cleaner 2moro. The car actually gets to about 2500 before it starts to 'misfire' not sure wat word to use for it. So is that how it works? when the afm isnt in the car can start but not rev over X? it starts fine without the afm everytime. starts with the afm just struggles more but in both cases u cant rev over 2500
  20. Ok so car is not good as i thought! wont go, starts drives a bit and revs are just all over the show. I redid al the solder joints about 6weeks ago? ive just taken it out and im looking at it atm and it looks fine. all the joints are nice as! what else could it be? spark plugs? :s sorry im a newbie Cars now starting without the AFM in it...but try driving and it jolts when u get anywhere near 2000rpm
  21. no need to reply! got it running this morning, somethings up with the AFM. About 6 weeks ago i re did the dry solder joints and its been running fine ever since. This morning i disconneceted it and the car started fine first go pluged it back it and now its working??? not sure if it just wasnt plugged in properly at first or not? i imagine if that was the case it still woulda started though(considering it started when i took it out!!!) Will just have to keep an eye on it. Cheers
  22. Hey guys, recently my r33 gtst series 2 has started to stuggle a lil on cold starts. Revs fluctuate a bit but it sorts out and idols fine then all is good Ive also noticed that the last week or so ive been getting exhaust soot on my rear bar? im not sure if this is all related or what Tonight i went to go out, car started stuggled a lil like it has been but was then fine, drove around the cauldersack before the car started to jolt and stall! Now when i try to start it the engine cranks over revs to about 1100rpm then cuts out. Sometimes it will rev a bit /\/\/\/ but then cut out still? Im not sure what the problem is tried searching but couldnt find a similar problem. Please help guys
  23. I havent had a chance to order new coilpacks yet. funds have been tight!(despite working for a banke so car still missfires when you rev over 4500-5000. I redid all the solder connections in my AFM about a month ago and have replaced my O2 sensor im still stuggling to get 300km to a tank. When baking off the gas to change gears im getting alot of backfire. especially when downshifting/engine breaking. Ive been reading around heaps and am wondering how big an impact my atmosphere blowoff has on fuel economy (despite being illegal id hate to lose the "ptsuuuu" sound of my blowoff) ? In the last week ive started to get exhaust soot all over my rear bar. This hasnt been a problem before??? whats going on things seem to be

  25. ive read so many threads on this! can i just confirm? If i want mine to shine red. i spray the fascia in black but not over the letters, then spray it the colour of my car(white) and leave the leteres completly clear? or is it possible to have the letters white so it looks stock in the day but at night time the red shines through?...i cant see it working very well
