  1. Ha ha Nice one bass If your not making full boost to redline thats a pretty laggy turbo. I live in the county so it makes it a bit easier 100kmph is about 4500 5000rpm in 3rd I think If you havent make full boost by then try 2nd. Your probably a bit laggy for my liking if it hasnt reached full boost by 5000rpm though. cheers

  3. I’m only comparing the two with the mods listed in the first post I already knew it would make more power and beyond these levels the Supra has far more potential than the r33 GTST. But after that level of modification things start to get expensive upgraded turbos fuel systems ect. After searching the supra forums for cars with similar mods the r33 listed in the first post the gtst and supra run similar times down the quarter at this level. Does anyone else have some dyno charts or times for the supra with the the mods listed in the first post? and perhaps some GTR dyno runs and times with similar mods ill say it once more listed in the first post? Cheers people just thought it might be an interesting thread.
  4. Id love to hear that @ 7000rpm the engine doesnt sound stressed at all it feels like it could rev to 9000rpm without a problem although im sure it wouldnt last long if you did. The RB25 is Such a smooth engine especially when your previous car was a V6 VN commodore.

  6. I thought this test may give people an idea of the lag of different turbo upgrades. TEST From idol in 3rd gear floor it and take note on what rpm it starts to make boost and what rpm its making full boost. Please include engine mods ect. Eg - my car R33 GTST manual Turbo - stock with r32 actuator Details - 3 inch turbo back exhaust, SAFC, and hybrid FMIC Boost starts - 1000rpm Fullboost – 11psi @ ~3000rpm - Especially interested in HKS 2530,2535, 2540, GTRS and GCG hiflow cheers

These theads always suck when people post replys with no evidence just they just post what they think would happen. r33 gts25 vs any non supercharged v6 factory commodore would be close in stock vs stock form exept for maybe the new vz with the new all aloy 3.6ltr V6 they go a fair bit better than the old 3.8's the factory claimed times are very similar. As for a 3.5ltr magna beeting a auto r33 gtst id doubt it mate.
  8. I know the hard tuned supras will kill the r33 gtst but im talking about both cars having the mods listed in the first post. So we have Skyline 200rwkw Supra 240-250rwkw Skyline has a 200kg advantage but 50rwkw is a lot to make up for. But I have been over to the supra forums for a look cars with these mods are running low 13s to high 12s very similiar to the 33 GTST Skylines. cheers
  9. I live in the county and it’s hard to find people here who know anything about modifying or tuning Skylines. I have been to ICE twice very happy with the prices and the results. I will also add I find most mechanics arrogant and unhelpful but these guys are the exact opposite I highly recommend them.
  10. Search for Sydneykid and gcg highflow he has done or seen this on several cars making ~265rwkw with tommei poncams and supporting mods with more power everywhere. If I ever upgrade my turbo this is what I will be doing. There is also someone on here has also put a larger exhaust housing on the turbo and made 290rwkw.

  14. Thanks everyone I know that the supra is quicker over the 1/4 than the r33 gtst from the factory. How would a R33 GTS-T fare against a the supra both in street trim at this level of modification assuming they both have a decent suspention/tyre setup. Keeping in mind the supra weighs 200kg's more. I know that the skyline is capable of high 12's what can the supra do?
  15. If your talking gtst be a lot easier to fit an rb26 I guess. If your talking a GTR why bother. Whats does the RB26 make at the rear wheels or he 4 wheels with these mods? cheers
  16. I got mine from them Hybrid super monster intercooler came with fitting instructions all fitted up fine and works well. It has a hybrid plate on top of it I guess its genuine.
  17. Thanks thats about what I would have expected anyone else? What 1/4 mile times would a supra with these mods and a good suspention setup get?
  18. I know the twin turbo 3ltr sequential twin turbo supra has a lot of potential. But I was just wondering if anyone knows what rwkw are achievable with the following mods - After market cooler - Power FC or equivalent - full exhaust system from turbos back. - boost increase with stock turbos From reading these forums and from personal experience these mods on a RB25 with 10-12psi of boost ~200rwkw seems to achievable. I know the supra will make a lot more power than this but how much more?
  19. I believe these afm's can be found on the 300zx, and any nissan model with the q45 v8.
  20. A single gtr afm would be a disadvantage over a rb25 afm. better off getting a z32 or a q45
  21. What mods do you have mate. I just upgraded my suspention whiteline springs and bilstein shocks its harder to launch now due to the stiffer setup damn. At least it corners better though
