  1. My speedo has proven dead acurate as I tested it different speeds with a GPS. Car cuts out at 194 well into the black stuff.
  2. about 26% loss for a manual and 30% loss for an auto is the rule of thumb not an exact science but it gives you a good idea. eg Man 33 GTST187 at the fly 138rwkw Man VTclubby 250 at the fly 185rwkw man VTGTS 300 at the fly 222rwkw I have seen many dyno figures from these 3 cars and taking 26% off the flywheel figure ends up about right.
  3. I had to cut mine to fit my genuine hybrid intercooler kit car is a r33 s1 with a type m bar. it was either cut it or could not have posibly fitted the kit. Just cut the bloody thing.

  12. Lingenfelter Corvette 427 twin turbo http://www.answerbag.com/q_view.php/9363 0-60mph -1.9 0-400m - 9.2 topspeed 262mph
  13. and a bigger fuel pump of course
  14. Could be richening up to much in which case you would need a SAFC or Power FC you. Either that or you may have faulty coils.
  15. GCG highflow standard turbo you will also need supporting mods ECU, injectors, upgraded Airflow meter, and cams or cam gear would help too. Should be good for 250rwkw with cams.
  16. How about a honds integra not sure on there fuel econ but its a 4 http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...rch_distance=25
  17. Sending the same email over and over will at least get there attention but we should suggest a few story ideas to them. If someone could think of a story that would be entertaining and apeal to a large audience they might listen. For example a club track day showing family and friends getting together socializing and racing around the track. Then get a few drivers to talk to the journo stating that they do drive on the streets in the cars they are racing in for the day. They could explain how they drive by the road rules and by racing on the track they become a safer more confident driver on the street. Also they could state they are sick of getting labeled as a hoon just because they drive a modified car. Or maybe a show and shine showing the creativity and the imagination that people have to build these cars. Again the car owners could explain that they are street driven cars, they do respect the law, and they are tied of been put in the hoon category. Just a couple of ideas im sure some of you could think ofa lot better. cheers
  18. My car has 83.000km on the clock so I should probably give it the 100,000km who really knows how many K’s its done. The link in the sticky about the service is gone other than the cam belt what else needs or should be done? cheers
  19. You will have more clearance with the Rb25 head because the Thottle and plenum are ontop of the head. just a thought
  20. Thats a hard one but id choose the S15 out of those two but id probably prefer to save just a few extra grand and buy myself a r33 gtr cheers R34 would be easier to live with as an everyday driver but you could get the S15 going faster than the R34 for less dollars.
