  1. Followed a black stag along the esplanade and up Beach Rd for a little bit yesterday at about 5:30ish and went past a white stag at the roundabout on O'Sullivans Bc Rd this afternoon some time after 5..
  2. yep, that's him.
  3. we had a 33 and 34 for our wedding. The 33 was from a guy on here, can't remember his username though. The 34 came about after my mum noticed it driving past, followed it home, knocked on the door and asked the guy if we could use his car for a wedding. He actually said yes!
  4. exchanged waves with a green series 1 on the Broadway at Glenelg around 3pm today
  5. awesome, we're in could ya whack a pm my way please
  6. we went with the darkest legal shade which here is 35%- I like having a car that doesn't get picked on by the cops (yet). It looks pretty good. You can tell it's lighter but there's not a huge difference. But then that could also be due to the front windscreen being so light? I'll try to get a decent pic of it. (sorry for butting in )
  7. Had the auto trans serviced and at the same time got a shift kit installed
  8. As he said ^ Or go to the one on Sturt Rd. Either way you don't have to go to Regency for an ID check and these two inspection stations are generally a lot less picky. They are only interested in making sure the numbers on the paper match the ones on the car. They will pick on obvious things like super dark tint and turbo timers so remove/turn off that. They most likely won't care about things like exhausts, pod filters etc though. and YAY for another stag cruise. My new coilovers just arrived so this time mine hopefully won't be the highest one there
  9. I have a Nistune. Like a few other people have said, it's a cheap but effective way to make decent improvements without having to fork out a lot of cash for an aftermarket ecu. They're set up by a guy here in Adelaide and there was a group buy on them a while ago so that thread would have all the info on them. nistune thread

    Badged

friend of mine has a 32 GTR. He had the badges stuck on with industrial strength velcro and then whenever he parked somewhere in town etc he just pulled them off and put them in the car. You couldn't tell if you looked at them that they were only stuck on. He went out the other week though and forgot to remove the badges first. Got back to his car and they were gone I guess the only upside is that the paint wasn't damaged.
  11. Hi Kellie We wouldn't mind coming to this. Could you please pm me the details? Thanks
  12. heaps lower indeed. I have 33 gtr seats in mine and I have to sit on a pillow or I can't see over the steering wheel well enough to drive. I'm about 5'6 which is average height so it's not like I'm a shrimp.
  13. Glad it finally arrived it looks great !
  14. I would be interested in this too. I've wanted to do some form of advanced driver training for a while now.
  15. exchanged waves with a silver stag at the Dyson Rd intersection late yesterday afternoon
  16. this thread's more humerous than normal  Exchanged waves with a silver stag at the Dyson Rd roundabout late yesterday afternoon. There seems to be a few living down this way
  17. my car didn't have one when I bought it but luckily we had the forethought to keep the one from the boys s13 when he sold it and it fits nicely in the holder you should try other jap car forums like ns.com to see if someone with a silvia etc still has the flare. I don't reckon you'll have any luck getting one online sadly as you can't post them. there's plenty of people on ebay selling just the tube for looks only - no flare included tho
  18. spotted the same 2 black and white r33's (as in one black, one white) a couple of times along Gulfview Rd, Christies Beach tonight while I was going for a walk.
  19. ^ yes you have. You bought those gtr seats that I was going to buy but they didn't match my interior and you said "I might buy them cos my interior is blue" If we were talking non car related stuff I could fill pages on all the impulse buying I've done . But in terms of cars, I can't think of anything big I've bought on impulse except maybe my new wheels. I was going to the shop just to "check them out" but ended up buying them. I don't think that counts as an impulse buy though because deep down I expected myself to buy them, I just kept that thought to myself lol. Other than that there's been stuff I've wanted and then happened to come across somewhere and bought it on the spot without really giving much thought to whether or not I really needed it or could afford it.
  20. I'll grab one too if someone organises another batch
  21. ^ same. I'm with Shannons and over 25 and my insurance is $1200. I did an online quote with Just Cars and it came to $835. I rang them to check if the online quote was accurate and the guy went over everything I'd ticked etc and said it was all cool - they just heavily discount it if you do it on the net. It will always cost more over the phone even if the details are exactly the same. I asked Shannons why my insurance went up from $886 to $1200 in 6 months and they said that Stageas are considered high risk vehicles....
  22. Thanks to Ruby for organising the cruise It was great day and was good to finally meet some people from here Sarah - anytime champ, just glad it was nothing serious in the end Thanks for taking all the photos too even though my car was all banged up and dirty lol can't wait for the next one
