  3. Mine are awaiting installation in the near future
  4. Located in Perth I think, definalty WA Postage to me in Adelaide cost me $23.00
  5. PM Mayhem, or email Maytech@bigpond.com , I got a set of R32 cams of him, and he had a set of R33 cams going really cheap got mine super quick, nad in great condition
  6. Work in Adelaide CBD, postcode is 5000
  7. I am pretty sure Shaun at Boostworx tunes Motec, from what I understand that is his preffered managment for all the cars he builds Chris
  8. Ok cool, if you could get them to anywhere in the Adelaide metro area I can pick them up Where abouts in Adelaide do you send stuff normally? Chris
  9. I had a set of 18" Pirelli slicks of a GTP car in the shed, pity I threw them out.......... Would have been good to see how well they stuck on the road
  10. now now be nice everyone pretty true about the other forums, as my road I live on in particular has a few bends that are favuorites with a few drifters up my way I wouldn't care what they did really, just when my neighbours think its me I tend to get a little annoyed Commodore owners are the worst by far though, seems they can't do enough one wheeled burnouts at the top of my driveway. As I have pointed out to my mum and dad (as they thought it was me) Skylines leave two tyre marks not one Chris
  11. Bridgestone's R type rubber is now apparently only available at Kym Davis Tyres Steve wil be able to confrim I got my from Bridgestones on Gouger st, the former manager Laurie was a champ, but no longer works there Good luck finding good 18's cheap, maybe try some of the tyre places interstate or keep a eye out for some S/H rubber even. Falken Azenis semi-slicks come to mind, but I don't think they are available in 18's either way 18's are hard to find decent rubber at a good price, and semi-slicks are stupidly expensive in 18's Only if Laurie was still at Bridgestones, from memory Grepin paid about $370ea for his RE540S' when Laurie worked there............
  12. 4door - That sucks heaps. Just recently my brother and his mates chased and managed to catch some dude breaking into a mates car not long ago at TTP, from what I heard the thief will have a life long memory of what club locks and a big Maglite torch are really made for Hope if you ever catch the person or see someone else's car being scratched you will get some satisfaction in kicking the crap out of them Sorry to hear your car has been damaged like that How where Shannons about the whole thing? I am just about to switch from them and any input would be appriceated Regards, Chris
  13. Well, all went as planned on the weekend, and it is all fitted No pics as yet, as my plan was to fit it, then wait until Wednesday and remove it to inspect to see wether it was working succesfully. So far it seems to be doing a great job, inspecting the differance between the cam cover hose and the hose going into the inlet pipe shows that the hose going into the inlet pipe contains no visible signs of any oil or oil vapour The hose coming off the rocker cover has minimal amounts of oil in it, so I think its filtering the oil vapour very succesfully Will take it out tomorrow, take a few pics and post them up, along with a template to make up a internal divider if any other Greddy catch can owners want to do the same Chris
  14. Nah, never found anything at all Would be great if I could grab a few parts before you throw them, That would be heaps good. How did you want to send it?
  15. Came down my road (range rd nth) the other day too - Blue AE86, plates where NA 1600, driving like he thought he was Shcumacher I'm sure in the near future a gum tree or another car will remind him that he is not.................... And I wonder why my neighbours and people on our roads think all jap car drivers are doing crazy shit like this all the time Doesn't give the public a good perception of jap car enthusiasts, and we wonder why everyone is getting pulled over and harrassed by cops I had a cop waiting at the top of my drive not long ago, I approached him in my car and asked him what he was doing - "We had a call some people where driving dangerously and one almost hit another car" fair enough I reckon, shit like that on public roads isnt the right thing to do, and if people get caught, bad luck In the end, its just going to get to the point where there will be so much attention from the cops due to a few people, owning a import will not be worth it
  16. All depends on offset, make sure you try before you buy Might pay to look at some 17's, as the price of 18'' rubber is insane. At least you will be able to get much better tyres for the money Dunno about you, but tyres dont tend to last long at all.........
  17. 17x9's with 255's JUST fit on the back, when lowered and about 1.6-1.8degrees camber 17x7's with 235's also just fit on the front My car is a bit low though, with closer to stock height you may get away with it, but will need guards rolled or pumped on the back to fit 265's Not sure what offset I have though, but they where of a R33 GTST But I am guessing you will need some big or sticky rubber to harness the RB30
  18. Scourers mate, scourers Will show you when you come up for a look at the motor
  19. also - the 65odd CD's that where in my car - now 4cds of MP3's BIG weight saving there
  20. So far I have tried to lighten my car as much as possible without going crazy Quantum Coilovers - saved well over half the weight of the others that where on 16x7 Buddy Club P1 rims, extremely light compared to what I had GTR bonnet and grill - big weight differance plus more airflow to radiator GTR Seats, surprislingly lighter than 32 GTS ones by a fair bit Makes a noticable differance, under brakes especially
  21. so yeah, I will keep to non-flammable parts on the induction/intercooler plumbing true though, foam+petrol = Napalm :flamed: The things you learn at public schools Will get some scourers tonight, and put it all together on the weekend and give it a test. Hopefully it will do the trick, will take some happy snaps along the way Chris
  22. Yeah, after thinking about it, that fine shit rusts quite easily as well Should have read SK's post a bit clearer - Stainless Steel, not the fine cheap stuff A combination on the steel wool+stocking should work well I thought about foam as well, but the idea of hot and semi-solvent gas contacting the foam didn't seem like a wise idea (unless you want to make Napalm :flamed: ) Should work well, and be completley legal Just need to remember to give it a wash and replace the steel every now and then
  23. Yeah no probs, will sort it out this weekend and post it all up. It came up a treat As for the steel wool, check this out, it is a good read - http://www.autospeed.com.au/cms/A_0338/article.html Similar concept to that except I think putting the steel wool in a stocking would keep it from being inhaled by the turbo
