I would love to go but this year it's Hawaii in August, first 2 and a bit weeks. Maybe next year or year after we will hit up mainland US and A. Would also love to go to Japan but I think I will have issues with the food. I don't like much asian food, don't even like rice. So I may be up the creek there. I know what CTP is and you are incorrect. We do have it in VIC it's required by law and It's part of your Rego for your car. I put that link because it had the best description of the difference between it and third party insurance from an Insurance company. This Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance covers owners of Victorian motor vehicles for the injury or death caused by their vehicle to another person. In order to be indemnified by the TAC in a common law action the owner of the vehicle must ensure the registration fee (which includes the Transport accident charge) has been paid prior to the expiration date each year. ---------------------------------- We also have third part insurance in VIC so I'm not sure what you are talking about when you say we don't have CTP. Ah yes, my mistake. I was confusing TAC and CTP on rego and combining them together. Either way I was wrong. REGO CTP insurance only covers personal injury to another person where a legal liability can be established. To cover abything else you need CTP or Comprehensive through an Insurance provider eg AAMI, RACV etc. This cleasrs it up a little better CLICKY

Agreed, Macedon Summer run would be wicked. Some of those little back roads on the way to Yea were pretty awesome although somewhat tight is some sections. The weather was pretty average but that made it a little more challenging, I've never really been too keen to take the GTR out to the twisty's in the wet so it was good to see where it starts to break free. I def need new front tyres, those Jap made Bridgy Adrenalines are SHITE!! one of the worst tyres I have ever had in the wet. The Kuhmo's on the back held all day no matter how hard I stamped on the GO pedal

Well, understeer is safer than oversteer as it's more predictable and MUCH easier to recover from. In saying that, we should implement a K-Car law for P platers in Australia, that would be wicked! There are some bloddy awesome K Cars in Japan!

Was a good cruise although the weather was a bit crappy for most of it but we did have some good reasonably dry parts. Some of those roads are car breaking suspension flexing HELL!!!! My ass is killing me from some of them! The pies in Yea might have been award winning but the fricken donuts from that food shop were teh aidz!! The Fog at the mountain was real bad, could barely see the car 10m in front of you, not even the lights. I left you guys on the way back (took the Gisborne exit to Melton) so only waved to couple of you but I had a great time. PS - bugger bout the silvia too, I only saw him turn the corner and then saw the pole shake but yeah, the thing was farked! I loved those rims too! PPS - Well done Dan, great cruise and great notes. hmm 90% done and no top end. I can see the logic in that, plus no building either so the top end magically found it's way from where ever it was to your engine and mated itself perfectly to your bottom end, AWESOME! I need me one of those magic engines. What exhaust manifold did you use? or did you use the stock one with the BOV Coke can mod to cover up the holes It's also amazing the amount of shit people can talk in their own posts on their own FAIL thread! Hairdryer engine mod next, you know, not just for the lols but for the wicked acceleration you'll get from all the electric boost!

Awesome!! Engine built and in and only took 16 days, fast working there dude. I am going to have to take my GTR to the dyno you used, by my rough calculations I should make roughly 2.4 Megawatts of power from stock turbos running at just 1BAR of boost! AWESOME!!!!!!!! By the way I'd love to know what supporting mods you have on your car for this power... I'm thinking a Flux Capacitor or maybe a ramjet or 2. Are you going to take it to Calder to run the quarter mile? Would love to know your ET and 60ft time.

My mate had one of these (I think he still does but no rego atm) only problem with them is the max payload is 250KG! That's not good if you wanna try and get your mates in tehre too hahahaha! Try and find a decent ET Pulsar, they are wicked fun to throw around, easy to work on and use fark all fuel.
