Here's my baby you've all seen it before ive added a turbotech boost controller and got rid of th crap jap electronic one and had it dyno'd at Chasers and returned 176kw @wheels on 12psi dropping to 8 psi @5000rpm very happy with the result next on the list is EMU and turbo to cat exhaust already has a hks cat back.

I just took my car down for a wash just the drive thru high pressure one (no rollers) while it was going i noticed a large stream of water running into the back cargo area. It looks like it is coming from one of the child restraints that were fitted during compliance i cant see how it got down into there in the first place any ideas has anyone else had this problem?

I'd be keen as to make this if 15 sec stagea's are accepted LOL.

Just changed mine and i can tell you the head unit aerial plug is a single black socket with two pins on it i had to get an adptor from Autobahn hope that helps.Could also be for a satnav or xanavi?

That is most certainly the same as mine and by the looks of it they tried to hide it under the shifter boot. Also you may have an aftermarket dash or a manual dash has been installed mine has a light on the dash when you turn it on.

Is there a way to check like a part number or something. They look a little yellow cos of the parker globe which sits directly below the xenon,plus my camera sucks really bad and it was taken with the flash on. When looking at them they really are a purple/blue color,im not doubting what your saying but the camera really doesn't do justice to how it really looks if there is a way to check let me know and i'll check it out as it was listed on the auction sheet as xenon's so if they aren't i will be just a little bit pissed off. Oh and it is a 1999 series 2 stagea

My stagea has this exact button you describe but mine is in the console beside the tiptronic shifter. If i was you id be searching my vin on fast and finding out if my car was auto at one stage, or they have used a dash part or button in place of a broken item

As far as i know they are factory it came with the xenon headlight protectors and i was assured they were put back in after compliance by jason at kamikaze. I think it is just my camera sucks very badly

Mine were put back in after compliance and they are sweet i would never buy another car without them they are brilliant for night driving. Hope this is what you were after my camera sucks tho. The drivers side one points lower but they throw a huge beam and bright as f$#k you can barely look at roadsigns you drive past there that bright

Just remember you bought a 12 year old car and although most cars come from japan with low km's 12 years of sitting in the snow and rain will do damage,it could be worse you could of bought a 12 yr old commodore and be doing alot more repairing. Stick with it and be rewarded with a fun car im loving my stag and although it needs some attention i wouldnt trade it for the world atm.

I would get a PFC but i have tiptronic auto and i read it can't really be done without a lot of f$#king around.

Hey all im looking at a microtech LT-8 on ebay atm and was wondering if it can be used on a RB25 neo it says it was setup on a 355 chev motor so can i use it on rb25? Do i have to just change the base maps and get a loom to suit? Can i run it as a piggy back system and use the factory one to control the Auto?

Is there some type of adaptor or cable that would allow me to plug a usb stick into the aux port?

I would think any decent exhaust place would have it or if your lucky autobahn i know my local one (bendigo) has heaps of stuff like that as well as alot of good import spare parts.

Nah it was the other way around he charged me $199 for the headunit but he gave me the the $289 one it;s just the cheaper one had usb but the one he gave me doesnt, i dont know why the one he gave me was more expensive tho must be something for the $90 price difference. This is the one he gave me Kenwood KDC-MP4039 -$289 This is the one i wanted Kenwood KDC-MP5039U-$199 The U designation is usb port in front face.

This is my problem i asked for the usb version of the same unit which was $80 dollars cheaper it wasnt till got home and installed it all some 3 hrs later i realised he'd given me the wrong one. He charged me for the correct one but gave me the wrong model i cbf taking it back out again tho so looks like im stuck with it,im off burn some cd's then

Ok got the plug and got it to play music but it is not ideal song selection and play/pause is done thru the phone is there anyway i can get to use the head unit for skipping songs and play/pause the instruction that came with it are avaerage it is mainly designed for ipod me thinks.

I just bought a kenwood headunit KDC-MP4039 it's a cheapy but i needed something asap now my question is it has a front AUX port for ipod or other media player.Now the only portable player i have is my nokia 6110 is it possible to connect this to the head unit some way. I know there is a 3.5 double ended plug available would this do what im after or would i need a proper nokia one. I dont want to use the phone thru the stero just have it as media player .Any help much appreciated thanx
