  1. Since when? ive never seen anyone defected for them the cops would have a field day down chapel st on fri/sat night
  2. Only decent pics of got of it on the ground, car was so low when it was up on the hoist i had a look underneath there is scrape marks on the rear muffler and on the cat as well as every part of the body kit (underside that is)
  3. Don't xr6's run this diff ratio as well maybe xr6 turbs or anything with a 9" diff in it.
  4. Well A)I cant get them out myself B) It needs to be done for roadworthy and the compliance shop cant do it. So in order for me to pass roady and get plates the height of the rear needs to be lifted since the jap owner had it stupid low and now it's seized in that position which is about 80mm of the ground.
  5. Is it possible your alternator is shagged or are thier any aftermarket electronics in the car that may not be wired correctly and drawing power all the time? Just a guess i have no real experiance with electronics but ive seen some crazy jap wiring in some otherwise stock looking cars.
  6. Who is doing the compliance for you, most will have their own stock gear that you can RENT until your plate comes and then they switch it back out for what the car had when they got it.
  7. Umm i must be very lucky my car went to kamakaze motors in nunawading they picked it up for me from quarantine flat battery jump started all good towed it to their workshop , they complianced it,they roadworthied it found 3 things wrong -number plate light, castor bushes, tie rod end, they fixed it, they supplied R.W.C now just waiting for the compliance plate to arrive and pick it up next week with a permit drive to vicroads and put plates on. Jason is the man to speak to top bloke very professional knows his shit and great prices.
  8. Hold out for a while i may be brokering a deal to get mine repaired and moulds taken off it once the deal is finalised i'll be posting up a expression of interest thread in the stagea section oh it's a 260rs front bar with masa sideskirts and rear bar.
  9. As the title suggests has anyone used one can they be wired for the series2 tiptronic. Only asking cos i found a decent tuner close to my area that is a haltech dealer and has a dyno. Save the drive to melbourne to get work done all the time. Got qouted $1700 for a microtech installed and tuned in melbourne bit out of my price range and prob overkill for my needs. Any thoughts idea's
  10. Sorry i can only go by my experiance which is very little i was there when they did mine so assumed that all shops did it.
  11. I'm almost certain they are KKK not KKR will go check. I stand corrected was another article of a TT LS1 Turbocharger: - Twin KKR330 turbochargers Boost Pressure: - 0.65 Bar (9psi) @ 2200rpm Power: - 450kw (600hp) @ 5700rpm Torque: - 850Nm (630ft/lb) from 2500 - 5500rpm Boost Control: - Twin Internal Wastegates - With fully adjustable actuator rods
  12. I was at my compliancers the other day they change all the fluids so if it was done when they complied it,it should be ok,from what i have read fuel usage in mostly stock cars comes down to not many things,Heavy right foot (already discounted) O2 sensor, overly high A/F ratio causing it to run rich(excessive fuel usage) Try reset the ecu and see if that helps, If all else fails to the tuners you go.Does the car have any electronic gear in it Sitc or Safc. I know my car was supposed to be almost stock but is far from it when it landed with all sorts of electronic crap that i dont know how to use.
  13. No thats not it those are gizzmo which are aussie made, This one is a brand made in partnership by M's and Akimoto and the only info i can find on it is other people asking how the hell they work.
  14. Patience grasshopper most of the mods and admins have a copy of it and will be able to help you out sometime today or tonight.
  15. Yay i actually retained some useful information
  16. I was just reading up on O2 sensors in another part of this forum cant remember where but apprarently you have to do a ecu reset after installing/changing a new sensor just disconnect the battery for a while then take it for a drive. Dont qoute me on this but do your own search for o2 sensors.
  17. Are these the same as used in this guide there is links to these forums in here so i'll assume it's posted by a member http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search.dl...o%3D1&fgtp=
  18. When someone with the nissan fast software comes on and fast's your vin number all will be revealed
  19. Yeah just the hieght adjustment part of it That was my thought but APPARENTLY they will not budge obviously they dont have enough wd40 and big enough hammers in their workshop LOL
  20. Thanx for the directions guys found a tein authorised repairer 40 km's from my house which is f$%kin rare when your in central vic, but then again bendigo is the hoon capital of Victoria more cars seized under the new hoon laws than anywhere else in vic not bad cosidering they have a population smaller than geelong.
  21. For those of you who don't know i just picked up series 2 1999 stagea it came with adjustable teins not quite sure which model yet but while the compliancer was doing the roady he found the rear shocks were seized and could not be adjusted the car is stupid low in the front but have been adjusted up to legal but the rear sits lower now cos of no adjustment . I was wondering anywhere in melbourne to get these repaired or can i buy tein rear only from somewhere? Any help greatly appreciated.
