It was still a very good drive by Webber regardless ad will do his cahnces of getting a good rive in the future no real harm at all. I think it is a real pity that both Webber and Kimi had exhaust problems as the whole race was looking very interesting indeed. Oh and for the record i really enjoyed Button being so nowhere all race as ITV barely even mentioned him. Nice holiday from the usual diatribe!
  3. Yep the posts above sum it all up. Buying stuff off ebay comes down to checking their trader ratings and where possible avoid items that need to be well engineered as there can be a lot of fake stuff on there (if a trader has an excellent rating and feedback it can be worth giving it a go.) Good luck.

YEp, the race can be a bit of a procession but it is still an wicked spectacle. Personally i think that Spa is the best track on the circuit, but for one small problem it is not on the circuit this year...

I have never really liked or disliked Alonso but i have now formulated a view... I dislike him... The basis for the decision? When told that Rossi was not switching to F1 Alonso stated "good now we do not have to talk about him anymore." What a tool. Rossi is a genius on the bike and may or may not have made a good F1 driver. But he still would have been good for the sport by lifting its profile. If Alosno is too much of a tool or is too threatened to realise this then he really does deserve to be maligned severely!!!

The lack of big names in testing etc is one reason that i am not too much of a fan of the 2 race engine concpet. In theory it is good in that i bridges that gap between teams but now we have had time to see it in practice i think that most people would agree it is not all that good. Imagine Honda asking button to pull off from a points finish so that he does not get penalised for the next race. Crazy. And what is with the new 5 year freeze on engine development. Sure it saves costs but if hardly makes it F1 anymore. It is sad to think that they are going to retard one of the most exciting bits of F1...Technology.
  7. I agree with Wildcat i thought that red neons were not legal... Not 100% sure on that though. ATMO BOV's are definitely not legal. Chuck the stocker back on, if you do not have it chuck a post up. One of the fine folk on the forums will lend you one.
  8. Hey Guys, Am off to Midland second hand Tyres now to get sorted. Thanks for the help Jezz. I too am not a fan of the V8 move. To me it fails to address the properly the safety issues that it was introduced to solve. For sure the cars will be slower in a straight line (well for a while anyway) but now with lighter engines they will have better weight distribution, lower centres of gravity which means... Increased cornering speed. Which if i am correctly understanding Mr Mosley, is the biggest safety concern. Hopefully the smaller engines add a little racing spirit to the GP racing season!
  14. Aron, I am really keen i will give you a call tonight to discuss. Cheers, Tim
  15. I certainly hope that Sauber remains competetive next year as JV in an F1 car that is there and there abouts is good to watch. Next season has some promise of more competition on the track. Fingers crossed eh!
  16. It is a sad day when the off track rumours/occurences are far more exciting than the races. Although sunday was pretty good even if it did end up the same bloody 1-2. I say bring on JV, a little more fire in the paddock is all good...
  17. I was pulled over after picking my car up from the previous owner. I had owned the car less than 5 minutes. In all i had 3 pullovers and checks done. All were routine license checks that ended up with my bonnet up. No yellows were issued... Also 2 were afternoon and 1 was night.
  18. There is a tread floating about somewhere on how to do it yourself. It is a bit of a bitch really. From memory i used a castrol 80/90w...
