  5. Don't wish to sound rude, though u sure the box has been configured properly? With hardware like that (bar the ide drive), it should absolutely scream for just this website. Im happy to offer any help to get things running better, got a fair bit of experience with it all, though im sure many others are in IT here as well. On a side note Ill donate in a month or 2 when I have abit more cash These forums have provided an endles amount of very handy knowledge.
  6. Other way round. The lower the better anyway, makes gear changes faster
  7. for a good daiken execdy organic clutch, expect around 900 fitted in sydney. That includes machining ure current flywheel. If ure after a new flywheel based on performance, expect around 600 odd. They're worth it, though only when ure doing ure clutch.
  8. Just letting you know I ordered my trust front bar and skirts yesterday, and will be having it sprayed in a couple of weeks. The damage it has is very minor, theyre dents more than anything. Let me know If you want me to provide further info etc... just had a new execdy organic clutch fitted to!
  9. Good info there Steve, Was this only on a particular model or all? Im mainly concerned about the sports organic kits
  10. hhmm ok....yeh havn't been dropping it at all or burnouts, just reved it thru the gears abit tonight...nothing majorly hard...hmmm
  11. Thats what i want, but it sits 2 high now? Maybe it was just an off thing tonight....did u rev it out much when it was new?
  12. Ive had the daiken organic sports clutch kit put in, and wanted to ask a few questions as i cant remember from my last clutch. Ive only done 200km with it so far, and its started to raise a little from the original postion, personally i don't like this, but i take it this is normal? Havn't done anything 'bad' with the clutch yet, though ive reved it out in a few gears (not from 1st), this doesn't pose any harm? Whats the expected bed in process for an organic clutch? They're ment to be much faster than a brass etc?
  13. Ah cool, Ive spoken to him a few times to arrange to get my car sprayed. He seems like a decent bloke and ive only read good things about him so looks like its another point to him

  19. As information is listed in this thread, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...hlight=gavsport I had a new daiken sports organic clutch put in today. Feels great, extreamly light, and fixed my shifting problem (spigoit bushs had busted which was the reason my old clutch died so fast it seems). Anyway, Just giving a thumbs up to this shop. Great service, only booked it in yesterday, dropped it off this morning, and it was good to go this afternoon. Couldn't ask for a better job.
  20. willing to sell the gtr bar and skirts seperate? I'm happy to pay postage etc.
  21. So your answer is = more coolant = less rust.
  22. If the other driver is at fault, it doesn't matter what you have on ure car. It has to be restored to the condition it was pre-accident. So if you have a fmic, then it wil be replaced and so on.
  23. Thanks for the response Ive shot Kev off an email so hopefully should get some feedback shortly. How have you found the clutch? any problems? Have you found when say idling for 15 minutes, the clutch would slip until u started to run properly? I had that problem just after I had mine installed though it wore off after a while...I think it was just part of the shit job from the ppl that installed but never know... Thanks again Ben
  24. Sorry to bring up an old thread, Ben I need to replace my clutch and Ive heard a few good things about Gavsport. I spoke with Matt, and he said for an Exedy organic kit, it was around 1k. This included maching the flywheel etc etc, though it was abit more than expected. Did you get a kit or just the clutch? I think im already running an organic so perhaps I won't need the kit...?
