  1. Oh what, the government still taxes you on your personal import? So all you end up saving is on the cost of compliance if you were to get it under RAWS. Bah..
  2. Hi all, I was browsing through amaya, looking at some prices of supras when I spotted this car: http://auctions.amayama.com/toyota/supra/1286270/ Looking at the pictures, I recognised this car somewhere else... and yes I did. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=3491 Look familiar? Look at the registration plates.. then compare the ODOs on both cars... Not to mention the inflated price tag! edited
  3. But doesnt the transport fee defeat the purpose of saving money on compliance? correct me if im wrong please.
  4. Expect compliance to be between 3500-4000 Not sure from which workshop, but that is the going rate atm.
  5. http://auctions.amayama.com/ Theres a good site showing car cost prices sold at various Japanese auctions. Use it as a budget guide prior to importing.
  6. I thought it was the Vagina edition. The V-spec GTR gets the most vagina compared to the others..
  7. How the hell do you get in that box to drive the car out, theres like 0 room.
  8. Speaking of cannons, had this installed earlier today. Its a Apex-i N1. Have a sound file if anyone interested.
  9. shonen, Im pretty sure he was taking the piss out of henzie ^_^
  10. Same here man, on the rego and greenslip. I said its a coupe, but they put it as a sedan, because of the 4 seats.
  11. What a waste of talent taking pictures of WRXs
  12. I had my car put in a container. No additional scratches/damage apart from the ones on the auction sheet. No mould. And my 10 disc cd stacker still in the boot. So I guess things dont get stolen. (I didnt even know about the stacker)
  13. Nothing like posting pictures of your very own Toyota on a Nissan forum
  14. you can book but then u can get bumped off...
  15. Dude you gotta sit down, and relax. I bought my car on the 1st nov 2004 and didnt see it till 25th of Feb 05. As long as you continue to have contact with your imported you have nothing to worry about. If for some reason they dissapear then you have issues to deal with.
  16. Cheers bro but my compliance werkshop has organised one for me. Anyone know if they count the months as well as part of the 10 year inspection rule? My car was built in Dec 95, so that would essentially make it 10years old, old enough to bypass this bullshit inspection>`? Guess i could callem up.... lollers
  17. Anyone have the address and contacts of the inspection stations so I could make a booking as my car is getting close to being done at compliance. Cheers
  18. It may take a while, my car landed on the 10th but I didnt get it till the 25th. Even though I paid for all my fees the day I got the bill. Sometimes customs are so ****ing slow or the steam cleaners do a shit job and require a second clean.
  19. How are you going to get that compiled? Or is that race use only?
  20. I'd go the Supra, its a better road car than the GTR imo. GTR is more of a track car. For 30k, id go TT. You could probably find a genuine low km example in japan for stock 95/96 TT Supra.
