  1. Think 1540 is R33 GTR. Miss *33's car weights 1400.... thats with her in it!
  2. Ok... lets forget it now. Maybe its true, maybe BS or maybe someone played with the 'X' Factor on your dyno run. Having said this 15.094 @ 91.94mph even on a hot day would maybe equal to a 14.8/14.7 at the best if you are lucky. Probably even with all the best setup and dragging technique. Sorry ben, but you have to be realistic, a FLAT 14 or high 13 is a loooooooooooong way from 15. Especially for a non turbo. But anyway, good luck.
  3. On another note, anyone see a silver VRX or VRX kitted Magna with twin exhaust at the back and 17/18 inch wheels.. I saw it and though nice... classy cruiser.. then saw a HUGE FMIC... wooooooo..... nice.

Normally, I wouldnt have bothered with a non turbo but you were just asking for me to put you in your place.

  7. HAHAHA.............. I was stuck behind your car once. Was at the lights and it was red. Once green, you seemed to be stuck behind mine all the way... a llong way back.... until i stop accelerating. And I was only in the S15. :kick:
  8. Yes bolt on units. 2835 and 3037 are way to large for what i want. Plus to do it right with those turbo's will need engine internal work. I want the maximum amount of power with bolt on turbo's. Close to 400HP will be sufficient. Round the 350 plus mark.
  9. Think its time to get more power to the 34. Its a GTT model. Done filter, FMIC & Complete exhaust. Next step is turbo. Not very convinced with the new HKS GT-RS so im thinking the Trust T517 or T518 turbo. Opinions anyone? The 7 is rated at 380PS & 8 is 420PS. The Trust unit seems to be a much more bigger turbo side by side to the HKS but spooling is meant to be equilvalent to the HKS. Been told the power up is very high but im concerned at the lag. Another concern is the non water cooling. Leaning to order T518Z (8mm). Opinions please.. Thanks.

  12. Any speed over 45km over the posted speed automaticly gets charged with: 1. Speeding 2.Dangerous driving. Because its dangerous driving and above 45km, you will not get a fine in the mail but instead an officer will come to your address and look for the registered owner to hand the fine and also to get a story and explain to you that you will lose your licence and be charge.
  13. PFFttt........ whats cat or no cat? u know when i got my car from HKS, dyno read 580PS @1.2bar and they left the original nissan cat! forget the cat SLY, get a dog!
  14. Think u need to go back to get back ure money or some part of it, plus ure plugs back in at no cost. Im suprised they got away with that. U look like a pretty angry guy!
  15. Also are they definately 18x9.5? Because the right fitment for R33 is atleast 18x10. Only R32 uses that size. Thats why some looks fatter than others..

  19. What sort of prices are ppl charging for tuning a power FC in SA? State name and prices if possible.
  20. just oil change and filter: Unley Nissan. Bout $180 inlcluding all fluids etc. I send my S15, R34 and R33 to them. Btw, they can plug in their diagnostic ecu into your 34 becuase they did it to my gtr and gtt and it was compatible. So no probs there.

  22. Sly is it a HKS unit or a garret one? Im thinking 2540 for the 34. Majority of the tuning shops in japan recommend 2530 for GTR but 2540 for RB25. Must say something for the topend. See u on the streets.
  23. Thats some amazing story about the actuators. I might get a set from HKS just to see. Not expensive anyway. They are all the same right? No specific models to get. We should go looking for more runs next time Take u for a spin next time. :headspin: Btw, next time ill make sure we match boost for boost. As u know, those GT turbos are only efficient after 1 bar! Youll be suprised what mine does at 1.2bar.
  24. Yes that little piece. Thats what i though when i first saw it but its not expensive, considering a genuine one is over $600 from Nissan. Thats probably why u almost never see one on a GTS-T! Its meant to direct air and makes your car .09 faster.
