So obviously you have not owned it for more than 12 months in NZ. Thus you cant import it under the PERSONAL IMPORT rule. That only gives you the REVS Low Volume Import rule. So back to looking for someone who has a compliance ready. You can try ringing 1800 815 272 DOTARS and ask them who has if any, R34 plates. I doubt anyone has them yet. Good luck.

Lip looks like a 97 model so could be. But Zenons are missing so maybe previously damaged? There is a white R33 GTR in SA that suspiciously looks like a damaged and cheaply repaired car: 1.Rear Skyline section not painted 2.Fiberglass frontbar thats looks out of place... 3.Wait for it............................ Headlights are SILVER.. (only on 4 doors)

Think its easier to claim a lower price than declare it as a gift. Adding it all up (if claimed at a lower price) it is cheaper than purchasing retail. The more expensive the item, the more you save generally.

By the way, I heard that this GTR (ex-JMS one, sold for $78,000) or near that. Nice car..... some old guy bought it. Drives around with his Doc Martins!! And even this one i wouldnt think would be anywhere as perfect as others... http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/whiter33gtr.html

Again, I apologise if i read it wrong. I read it as.. would you agree to me, paying a third party... meaning me paying. Besides, I dont think anyone would not agree to any inspection if it doesnt cost the seller anything and also considering the price of the vehicle. So when you asked, I assumed you meant that i would have to pay for it.

Sorry, if you meant you are paying. But as i read it, it seems you were asking me to pay for it. And I believe i also replied the same answer to you. This is an inspection done by third party normally costing 180 inclusive of some other miner checks. And paid by interested party only.

Here, buy this one: HEAVILY MODIFIED GTR In my opinion, 40 plus SHOULD be the price for a standard R33 GTR. Only reason everyone is thinking less now is the mere rubbish/damaged/thrashed GTR's that has been imported by back yard operators trying to make money. It has brought down the price substantially. I think that they have truely damaged the market. Especially for GTR owners who paid the "proper" retail price before this crap started happening. I know for sure the under $50,000 you asked me to consider for my vehicle will not happen. I wont budge on my price. And Im sure other owners like PH1 wont either because like me, I rather keep the car than sell it for less. So if you really want to buy a heavily modified GTR for the 40 mark im sure there is, just pls dont expect the detail and perfectness that you expect. And by the way, if you are prepared to spend over 50g's, then you shouldnt have even though about asking me to pay for my own car to be inspected just for your interest. :headspin:

-Joel-, what do u mean by clucth fan? I asked nissan and they think its due to the size of the cooler. Full restriction. Plus it only happens on hot days with the aircon on. With it off, not bad at all.
