  1. The Mine's Silence Vx pro 'appears' to be too constricted in diameter right where the exit pipe is welded to the silencer. I did not end up buying one. I considered it as one of my options initially until Ben told me his experience with a R34 from QLD that he tuned. He was BS'ing as the car was there when I visited his workshop and the Mines exhaust had surely been removed and eventually sold to someone else. Then again, others have had good success from the Mines exhaust; one thing though the Mines Titanium exhaust is immaculately hand crafted and can be hung on the mantle piece as a piece of art! Hi Matt, still eagerly waiting to see/hear a vid of your Racepace exhaust? Cheers Michael
  2. Matt, any chance of posting a vid to hear your exhaust at idle and at higher revs? Cheers Michael
  3. Martin, Martin, Martin. I see you are still sore since my Ferrari lapped your Ferrari on lap 81 at Mallala the other day. You have been most radical at attacking these fine gentlemen who like to drive their Ferraris as hard as they did when they were 17
  4. I have got HKS dump pipes, HKS front pipe and a Kakimoto exhaust. I have got this terible drone around 3000 revs that is acctually affecting my hearing. When I spoke to Beer Barron couple months ago about this problem he suggested an ARC titanium exhaust as one of the best. According to RMS motorsports 80mm main pipe ARC titanium exhaust would be the least noisy option but I wanted to get some opinions before spending over $4000 for it. I was very interested in which Fujitsubo exhaust Johhny had since their Titanium exhausts have decibel levels close to or just above the stock R34 GTR exhaust decibel levels (at least according to their website) but unfortunatelly his reply to me got erased by someone. I'm aware that there a many previous topics addressing the exhaust noise/note but I was specifically interested in ARC Titanium exhausts hence the new topic
  5. I thought this forum was for car enthusiasts to share their passion for everything related to cars and a best place to ask for help and suggestions especially since so many people here have tried many thing us unexpirienced members have. But I guess I was wrong.
  6. Anybody? Any other CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions?
  7. Yes, I was amazed by the difference the middpipe made to your car. And you are a top bloke for sharing your R35 experience with me. There's too many pretenders out there that are all talk. And credit to Willalls for contributing to the experience with their best.
  8. Is your wife impressed with the larger midpipe Munro?
  9. Havent seen photos of this R34 for a while. This is the R34 that was on the the cover of SPEED magazine back in 2003 & also on the cover of 2nd HPI GTR Special edition. Very cool GTR. Munro has had some sick GTRs. some of my car
  10. Which Fujitsubo do you have mate? Cheers Michael
  11. I find that my current exhaust is too noisy, especially at idle. I'm very keen to get a titanium ARC exhaust but I'm a bit confused with all the pipe/tip size options. I'm looking for one that's not too noisy at idle but comes alive when you step on it. Has anyone had much expirience with these and what are your suggestions? Thanks Michael
  12. Just watched the UK Top Gears' season 13 episode 2 and all is forgiven to the Oz version. I can put up with our povo version as long it's followed by Richard Hammond driving McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron and Murcie SV all in one episode on closed off streets of Abu Dabi. There is God
  13. well done mate. Thanks for sharing your expirience
  14. Daniel, sent you a PM couple of days ago Cheers Michael
  15. Carlos, has my money for the airbox gone into your account?? For some reason I'm not having much luck getting you on the phone anymore. Cheers Michael
  16. Thanks Adrian (180or200; and Lee - RB25DETS2) for sharing some of your E85 with me. Much appreciated Michael
