  1. Brisby - the fact that it will be the first time your engine turns over in 18 months means it's all going to be seized up. The first event is going to go something like.... Bwup-wup-wup-wup-BANG. You'll then proceed to finish the event in James car where you'll recieve maximum points due to the penalty of using an ineligable vechile and the final score will be 48-0. Which to be truthfull will be less embarrasing than the 48-0 you guys would have got if the car had survived all 48 events. And I think we can find a fairer handicap than that. Say any event under 20s = 1s, Any event between 20-60s = 2s and any event +60s we'll give you a 5s handicap. How's that sound??
  2. Can't polish a turd Bris....
  3. We are making a short run of Long Sleeve Commemorative Shirts for the 2006 DECA Motokhana Series. The shirts are a black long sleeve cotton and will cost $40. Numbers are limited so this is an opportunity to reserve one for yourself now. If you are interested please post your name and the size you want and it will be reserved for you. Attached is the shirt design. Cheers Snowy Edit - All the 2006 DECA Shirts are long sleeved and they will all be black. Sizes are S, M, L, XL and XXL.
  4. How about I just put you down for 48-0 now?

  7. You need a name change - hang on!
  8. Posted - it's in the normal events section now David.
  9. I'd say the 33 R or the EVO - although if going the EVO you really want the 6.5TME rather than the 6 and yet the dumb thing is you will be able to get a 7 a lot easier in your price range than you will a 6TME.
  10. Racingline Motorsports Presents It's on again! Round 2 of the Skylines Austraila DECA Motokhana Events. When: Saturday May 27th Where: DECA Shepparton Cost: $70 Entries: 40 Event Schedule: Click Here If link doesn't work try here: Click Here Sup Req's and Entry Forms found here: Click Here Due to the over whleming sucess of the last DECA (Giant storm excepted) we have decided to base this and the rest of the years events on a similar structure. Consequently the entry numbers have dropped from 55 to a maximum of 40 and hence the slight increase in costs. As per usual a minimum of either a CAMS L2S or AASA Club license is required. Like the last event this one will consist of 2 full skidpan motokhana's ( 1 x practise run plus 2 timed runs), 3 "battle" motokhana's in the afternoon with 2 runs of each plus the Long Wang ( 1 x practise plus 2 timed runs). And we will also have the return of the Short Wang as well ( 1 x practise plus 2 timed runs) Also we hope to have a comemerative T-Shirt available to purchase at the event! Entries are very limited and the popularity of these events means that positions will fill quickly. This will be open just to SAU members for a few days only before the rest of the usual suspects get invited. Anyone intersted in accommodation for the weekend should look at the following thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115117 A copy of the event schedule will be posted closer to the date. Cheers Snowy.
  11. Don't mind being associated with a 13s car....
  12. Who is this Ben you all speak of?
  13. On the HICAS thing - really IMO unless you are going to become a hardcore racer then leave it in there. It's actually a pretty good thing. The only time it's bad is if you have the car on the edge of traction on say one of the big sweepers of a track like Phillip Island and it does something you don't expect then it sucks. Otherwise - leave it in there.
  14. I just got back from OS today and will be back to work tomorrow. I should be able to post up the entry forms for this event then. Cheers.
  15. Just put down Frank Piconni. He basically runs the WRX Club and they wouldn't dare question it.
  16. The R34 GTR has a torque split in the MFD and we did some tests on the car with the wheel arches even and then set correctly and you'd be amazed at the difference in the drive splits for the same circumstances. We couldn't actually get to a 50/50 split with the front end lowered even at launch.
  17. They move in on May 1st. I spoke to Nige today and he said he'll get online shortly and give a bit of a run down on what he's upto.
  18. So many people set the front and rears the same which is bad. The front should be higher. Your attessa system needs this set right to work propperly!
  19. For all the RWD boys going your bench mark is Jerermy Bevan in the green stock looking S14. See if you can beat him.
  20. For anyone that was at the meeting last night and is interested in where we pulled most of those cars from it was from this list (and the help of our friends at google images) http://www.2sportscars.com/fastest-cars.shtml Cheers
  21. Memph and skylinesteve don't have the same IP address so don't go making unsubstantiated remarks Denham.
  22. We might also have some scales available if anyone is interested in corner weighting their car.
  23. Guys, Melbournes newest workshop Racingline Motorsports is holding a dyno day for SAU on Saturday 13th May. We'll have a bbq and drinks down there on the day. It is a 2WD dyno but front shafts can be removed for GTR's. Cost for a run is $40. Depending on numbers some minor tuning may also be available. So when: Saturday May 13th from 11am Where: Racingline Motorsports. 15 Bricker St Cheltenham. (Melways Ref 78 B10) It will be a good opportunity for people who have attended the drag day the week before to check against the Dyno numbers to see how the times compare. Cheers
  24. Bris - my castor is now 8.1. It was under 4 before the new control arms went in. It's made a massive difference.
