  4. Have you looked into Nistune? it goes in the stock computer, and lets you tune it via the consult port
  5. HKS turbo timers need constant power, when power is lost (say battery is disconnected) the memory is lost.
  6. CCA rating is about 400-440, though CCA doesn't mean much here because of our natural hot weather
  7. wrxhoon here has a group buy going, odyssey copies for about 200 delivered
  8. I was going to come participate Sunday, but didn't have any mountings for a fire extinguisher, the people who did go how and wwhere did you have your fire extuighsers mounted/secured?
  9. You can pick up second hand jap turbo timers for 40, but you will otherwise have to buy a $30ish dollar harness unless you want want to hack your wiring apart. SAFC's are worth the money if you are modifying with a stock ecu and don't plan to get a aftermarket computer yet.
  10. The exhaust moves under spirited driving, without the flex pipe the mounting stress would otherwise be on the turbos
  11. With fire extinguishers, can we get away with them being in the boot or cabin, or do they need to be securely mounted with Modern Regularity?
  12. I thought fire extinguishers were expensive, thats good then.. I'm very interested in running Sunday for sure
  13. Damn don't have an extinguisher, still unsure about saturday
  14. I'm interested in Sunday, but I guess I'm alittle late to be trying to sort that out now, oil temp im worried about Saturday but I'll go if the Sunday thing with Modern Regularity if I can.

  16. My car is all ready for Mallala now, just need to put sump plug back on and put the new oil in. I just wish I didn't procrastinate so much leaving the oil cooler install to the last minute, I guess the cooler will be on the next track day.
  17. Maybe the previous owner has it setup to spray the intercooler?
  18. No point getting a bigger cat converter.. if you don't know what it is, and what it does.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalytic_converter http://auto.howstuffworks.com/catalytic-converter.htm
  19. what PSI will everyone be running in their tyres at this mallala?
  20. Coil cover/engine ornament, do you leave itt on at track days, or take them off so the coils don't get cooked?
  21. Might even be worth investing in a grounding kit like: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/D1-Spec-super-earth...1713.m153.l1262 I've been told you can pick up a cheap used kit off yahoo auction, but I've personally never used yahoo auction.
  22. Since it's a N/A engine, I'm actually not suprised you might be losing power, N/A engines create torque with backpressure in the exhaust , the RB25 isn't exactly a torque monster in N/A form either. There might be a more simpler answer, resetting your ECU or a leak somewhere in the exhaust
  23. I brought QFM HPX pads (street/light track pads) from a business trader here for I think 131 (front and rear + delivered), plan to put either on if I wear down my current pads while at Mallala. Was going to get the A1RM but they're fairly dusty being a track pad. Formulation - Cold Friction - High Friction - Temperature © HP-X - 0.41 - 0.42 - 0-550 A1RM - 0.40 - 0.48 - 0-780
  24. I'm 23 with Just Car Insurance with rating 1, '94 R32 GTR agreed value of 24k. Premium $1260, excess $1500
