  1. I wouldn't mind one for a R32 GTR
  2. Would you say a oil catch can is a necessity for track days?
  3. Brake booster, the black box is for stock boost guage, I Tee'd it off there (there are better places)
  4. Installed my gizzmo ms-ibc yesterday, found it easy to install (I have never installed an EBC before), tuning i've experimented alittle, solinoid small and very easy to hide, the builtin boost gauge is pretty accurate (once i figured out how to switch it to psi readout). Very happy with it so far
  5. If you have the stock ECU (nistune'd or not), flip the R33 service manual ( http://www.importworkshop.com/nissanskyline.html ) to the self diagnosis section, code 55 is all good, anything else just look up the code and it should tell you what's the problem
  6. I found a game that has it, rFactor (as a community download): http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Mallala Best way I'll get familiar with the track
  7. The other I don't get a result.
  8. Strange, FAST tells me it doesn't exist (not first time its happened).. all I can tell from the VIN is that it's a very late build, made after january 1994 thats for sure
  9. This may sound silly, but do any racing sims have mallala as a track?
  10. Since Regency checks the numbers on the turbo housing, is it still possible to get stock r32 gtr turbos new, or any turbos made by other companies that would have the matching numbers on the turbo housing as the stock r32 turbos?
  11. I'm looking at getting a oil cooler for my R32 GTR, I pretty much want the easiest place to mount it from my understanding is between the Radiator and Intercooler, and other place is passenger side wheel arch.. obviously the passenger side mount would get the best air flow, but I would rather mount it in between the radiator and I/C if it's an easier job. What sized oil cooler (or rows) could I fit in the rad and I/C spot? I'm guessing with the passenger side mount you could mount the biggest possible oil cooler there. I'd like to hear any other mount locations and/or any feedback on the 2 locations I've mentioned. If only those ARC bbq front grill kits wasn't so expensive..
  12. I'm curious about the adjustable cam gears you have in, look so worn out out I can't tell what brand.. kinda Tomei like
  13. Are you sure? it should read E-BNR32 followed by 6 numbers
  14. You would be suprised that some porsche owners don't know where their engine is....
  15. There are better importers out there than sinergy.
  16. I've tried many times, to try and decode the files but to no luck.
  17. Remember to run the aircon (even in winter) at least once a fortnight, aircon systems are self lubricated, if you don't the seal will dry out and let the gas escape. When I was on my L's many years ago, I brought a car (VN Commodore) but was still acouple months away from getting my provisional license, I did the starting it up once a week thing, everything was fine except for one of the seals in my powersteering system, developed a leak while in storage. May be worth even waxing the paintwork as well before storage, don't want it to bubble up and cost a expensive respray.
  18. im interested in the trust dump/front combo as well if you choose to seperate it
  19. there is the option of getting it of a business trader on this forum: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ge...html&hl=hdi
  20. I just brought the Gizzmo MS-IBC, so I don't need an EBC now.
  21. Thanks, based on the replys about the Gizzmo unit I've just brought one, $250 if anyone else is interested: http://www.modyourcar.com.au/gizzmo-msibc-...ontroller-p5327
  22. I haven't been able to find much info about people's experiences with the Gizzmo MS-IBC or HDI's EBC's, I've been planning to put an EBC on my R32 GTR (only want 14psi for now) but I have yet to read reviews or personal experiences with either. I understand both company's use a single solinoid, and shouldn't be compared with the older japanese EBCs that are single solinoid.. or should I be ignoring the above 2 mentioned company's EBCs and get a dual solinoid based EBC?
  23. I guess I could get the gizzmo MS-IBC ($250 brand new) or that hdi boost controller thats advertised on here for $320ish new. $200 isn't such a stretch in my opinion for a 2nd hand antique japanese ebc (evc III, profec b spec 1, dsbc spec r etc), I guess I would rather have a proven and tried "antique" than risk being the test subject of the 2 above mentioned new ebc's (not trying to pin that they're crap, it's just hard to find anyone who has those 2 installed in their gtr).
