  5. ummm no i dont have pics atm, but i can get em!! it's alot of work though.. i describe it to you! series 1 GTST -- where the hazard light switch and demister switch were i have an air/fuel ratio and water temp guage! both are the smaller autometer guages then on the other side where the mirror switch is there is a boost guage! larger style autometer! then all switches have been moved to the center console!
  6. you'll need to put it in the dash, or in the area for the instrument cluster or steering wheel. i put mine IN the dash to stop getting defects for it!!

  9. thanks for the input Jon, where abouts was the cut in the wiring? so we can also have a look!
  10. have you noticed any leaks of the power steering fluid?? could be just air pockets getting in the lines which will cause an error in the hicas as it has no fluid hitting the sensor!
  11. when i ran mine, i couldn't start the car, will have a go one day with the engine running!!
  12. hmmmm check this out afterwards.... and it isn't good to have all coolant as the collant doesn't make it cool better, just increases boiling points and freezing point thresholds!!
  13. yeah major black smoke from running extremely rich all the way to the shop!! im with the car park exercise!
  14. beat me to that one jason! as i said the cam gears may be off...
  15. the harmonic balancer is keyed so it cannot slip!! although the gears up top may not be lined up properly.. take the cam cover off and see if the marks on the cam gears are lined up on both sides when the HB is at 0 or TDC!!!
  16. looks mad without the wing, but you already have the wing on.. so now you have holes in the boot
  17. the r33 are electronic speedo's.. check for ecu diagram to see the pin out for the speedo then follow that wire if you can to see if anything wired into it! thats if it's always been like that!
  18. what if you tried setting the gun to 0, then using the timing marks on the harmonic balancer to see if it show the 18-20 degrees.. perhaps the guns out!! should be around 4th notch if my memory is working at 3:30am
  19. how are you checking the timing -- from the marks on the harmonic balancer? which mark is the timing at?
  20. Hey, ummm the r33 doesn't use a speedo cable!! it's all electronic!! mine does it every now and then, but mines been removed a couple of times and the plugs in the back must loose connection a little bit! cant explain why that affects the hicas etc, the steering on mine remains OK too.
  21. the PFC is a engine management device -- believe it does not attract duty on import!! double check with em when you order!!
